Rhea County comprises the Dayton, TN micropolitan statistical area, which is also included in the Chattanooga-Cleveland-Dalton, TN-GA-AL combined statistical area.

Garden City Community College is a public community college in Garden City, Kansas. It was established in 1919 to provide a means for post-secondary education for area residents.
