Daniele Matias Hypólito is a Brazilian gymnast who competed in the 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. Hypólito was the first athlete from Brazil to ever win a medal at the World Championships, a silver on floor exercise in 2001. She is also the nine-time senior all-around Brazilian National Champion in artistic gymnastics, 2002 South American Games all-around champion and 2003 Pan American Games all-around bronze medalist. Katherine Ann Johnson, also known as Kathy Johnson Clarke, is an American commentator and retired artistic gymnast. She is notable for being one of the first American gymnasts to win a major international medal, and for her longevity and tenacity in remaining in the sport.
Kyla Briana Ross is an American college artistic gymnast. She was an elite gymnast from 2009 to 2016 where she was a member of the U.S. Women's Gymnastics team. She was named to the 2012 Summer Olympic squad, dubbed the Fierce Five, which won the gold medal in the team competition. Ross was also a member of the gold-medal-winning U.S. team at the 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. The 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships was the forty-sixth edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. The competition was held from 23 October – 1 November 2015 at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, United Kingdom, and is the first time that Scotland hosted the event. The competition served as a qualification for the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Ann Carr, also known as Ann Carr-Tunney, is an American gymnast. She was a U.S. National Team member at the 1974 World Gymnastics Championships, as well as at the 1975 Pan American Games where she earned gold medals in the team competition, all-around, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise, and several other international competitions. She was the first woman to receive a full athletic scholarship from Penn State University, where she competed from 1977 through 1980. She led her gymnastics team at Penn State to first place in 1978 and 1980, and finished first individually in the all-around, balance beam, floor and uneven bars in 1978, and second in the all-around in 1980. She received the Broderick Sports Award, the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame Meritorious Achievement Award, and Penn State University’s Eric A. Walker Award. She later served as the owner, manager, and coach of the Lakettes Gymnastics Academy in Erie, Pennsylvania, from 1981 through 1985.
