Ricardo Blasco Laguna (30 April 1921-8 February 1994) was a Spanish writer, screenwriter and film director. [1]
He began his career as screenwriter for Cifesa and then under the direction of Luis Lucia Mingarro. [2] He co-directed Nuits andalouses (1953), by Maurice Cloche, Amor bajo cero (1960), Armas contra la ley (1961), Autopsia de un criminal (1962), Destino: Barajas (1962), Las tres espadas del Zorro (1963) and El Zorro cabalga otra vez (1965). [3] He also worked as screenwriter and television director for Televisión Española in Escuela de matrimonios (1964), Diego de Acevedo (1966), España siglo XX (1973), Sombras del ayer (1979) and Memorias de España (1982). In his last days he worked as historian and essayist. [5] In 1973 he edited the Gran Enciclopedia de la Región Valenciana. [6]

María del Carmen García Galisteo, known professionally as Carmen Sevilla, was a Spanish actress, singer, and dancer. She began her career in the 1940s and became one of the most popular and highest paid stars of Spanish cinema until the 1970s. In 1991, at the age of sixty, she began her career as a television presenter, working for the three major Spanish networks until her retirement in 2010. At the time of her death, she was one of the last surviving stars from the Golden Age of Mexican cinema and from the Golden Age of Hollywood.

El desencanto is a 1976 Spanish documentary film written and directed by Jaime Chávarri about the family of famous poet Leopoldo Panero. It tells the story of the Panero family told by themselves twelve years after the death of patriarch Leopoldo Panero, a poet of Francoist Spain. The documentary is based on the testimony of the remaining four members: the poet's widow, Felicidad Blanc, and the couple's three sons: Juan Luis, Leopoldo Maria and Michi. In their intertwined testimonies, they deal with family relations, the weight of their shared past and about themselves.
