Ricardo Vicente Canals Vila (born 26 September 1970), is a Uruguayan former professional footballer who played as a centre-back [1]
Canals started his career in Bella Vista. He also played for Nacional, Huracan, Logrones, Vicenzo Calcio, Rosario Central, Fenix and the Uruguay national team.
The Uruguay national football team represents Uruguay in international men's football, and is controlled by the Uruguayan Football Association, the governing body for football in Uruguay. The national team is commonly referred to as La Celeste.
