Richard Matthews (born 17 May 1950) is a New Zealand former cricketer. He played twelve first-class matches for Auckland between 1969 and 1976. [1]

New Zealand's victory in the third Test was the team's first Test match win outside New Zealand. Richard Trevor Brittenden was from the 1950s to the 1980s New Zealand's most prominent cricket writer.

An English team raised by the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) toured New Zealand between December 1960 and March 1961 to play four first-class matches against New Zealand. MCC also played against each of the main provincial teams – Auckland, Central Districts, Northern Districts, Canterbury, Otago and Wellington – and 12 matches against minor association teams.

Matthew Richard Quinn is a New Zealand cricketer who plays for Auckland. He made his List A debut in February 2013 in the 2012–13 Ford Trophy. He signed a three-year contract with Essex County Cricket Club at the end of 2015. He has a British passport so is not regarded as an overseas player.
