Richard Paul Cueroni (born February 1, 1930) is a retired United States Coast Guard rear admiral. He served as Commandant of the United States Coast Guard Academy from June 1986 to June 1989. [1] [2]

The Michelin Pilot Challenge is a grand touring and touring car racing series run by the International Motor Sports Association. Originating from the Canadian Motorola Cup, the series was taken over by Grand-Am in 2001 to become the Grand-Am Cup following the demise of rival IMSA's Firehawk series of similar rules in the US. KONI became series sponsor for the start of the 2007 season when the series became known as the KONI Challenge Series, before renaming once more prior to the start of the 2009 season as the KONI Sports Car Challenge. The series name was once again changed for the 2010 season to Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. In 2019, the series rebranded again after Michelin was selected to become the new official tire supplier of the series.

The United States Naval Aviation Hall of Honor, located at the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida, recognizes individuals "who by their actions or achievements made outstanding contributions to Naval Aviation." Since its inception in 1979, the Hall of Honor has enshrined 80 people representing every element of the naval aviation family: U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, Civilian and every naval aviation warfare community. Selectees are chosen by a board appointed by the Director, Air Warfare Division, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, sponsor of the Hall of Honor, and approved by the Chief of Naval Operations.

An urban refugee is a refugee who decided or was obliged to settle in an urban area rather than in a refugee camp in the country or territory where the person fled to. The Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER), formerly the Bureau of Business Research, is an economic policy and forecasting research center housed within the Miller College of Business at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, USA. CBER research encompasses health care, public finance, regional economics, transportation, and energy sector studies. Robert Ira Price was a United States Coast Guard vice admiral. He graduated from the United States Coast Guard Academy in 1945. He served as Commander of the Coast Guard Atlantic Area and Third Coast Guard District. Price was awarded the Legion of Merit and a gold star in lieu of a second award of the medal for his service. He died October 20, 2019, aged 98.
Donald C. Thompson, also known as Deese Thompson, was a United States Coast Guard vice admiral. He served as Commander of the Coast Guard Atlantic Area and US Maritime Defense Zone Atlantic.
Edward Nelson Jr. was a United States Coast Guard rear admiral. He was Superintendent at the United States Coast Guard Academy from June 1982 to June 1986. He retired in 1989 after serving as Commander of the Seventeenth Coast Guard District. He died in 2018.
