Richard Wayne "Rick" West is a politician currently serving as the mayor of Chesapeake,Virginia. Prior to assuming the office of mayor in November 2017,he served as a member of the city council for ten years. [1] West also served as a public school administrator for over 20 years.
Rick West was born and raised in rural Chesapeake. Since his father was in the U.S. Navy and deployed often,his mother and grandfather had the primary responsibility of raising Rick,his two brothers and two sisters. [2]

Poquoson,informally known as Bull Island,is an independent city in the Commonwealth of Virginia,United States. As of the 2020 census,the population was 12,460. The Bureau of Economic Analysis combines the city of Poquoson with surrounding York County for statistical purposes.

Justin Marshall Wilson is an American politician who has been mayor of Alexandria,Virginia,since January 2,2019. He was previously on the Alexandria City Council,including a term as vice mayor from 2016 to 2019. He is a member of the Democratic Party. On December 1,2023,he announced that he would not seek re-election in 2024.
