Rickard Engfors (born 22 November 1976) is a Swedish model, stylist and former drag queen.

His career began in 1996 as an artist in Swedish drag troupe After Dark and he was quickly appointed to "Christer Lindarws crown prince" and was also known as "Sweden's best looking girl". He has performed for royalty, won awards for his artistic efforts and shared the stage with many of Sweden's most beloved artists.

He acts as female lead singer in the music video of the 2003 single Pass This On by The Knife. In 2004 the Swedish fashion house Panos Emporio chose Rickard as its house model for a swimwear range, which caused so much controversy that it was re-shot using a Greek model called Aleka. [1]

Engfors participated in Melodifestivalen 2005 with the song "Ready for Me".

Nya Fröken Sverige(in English: New Miss Sweden) was a Swedish beauty pageant, under administration of the swimsuit producer Panos Emporio. The recruitment process is based on personal interviews and education backgrounds, and no traditional swimsuit competition is arranged. The very first winner Josephine Alhanko competed at the Miss Universe in 2006 and was placed as semi-finalist, but it was later discovered that the two pageants are fundamentally different and the national director decided to abolish international beauty competitions. The contest is a branch of the former Miss Sweden pageant, that existed between 1949 and 2005. Politician Sara Skyttedal participated in 2006 and made it to the final.

Established by Swedish magazine QX in 1999, the Gaygalan Awards are an annual event created to hand out prizes for LGBT achievements. In 2004, the gala was broadcast for the first time on Sveriges Television when it was held at Hamburger Börs with Annika Lantz as the host.
