Rico Meinel (born 3 April 1974) is a retired German ski jumper.

In the World Cup he finished once among the top 10, his best result being a fifth place from Innsbruck in the Four Hills Tournament in January 1995.

The 1984 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XIV Olympic Winter Games and commonly known as Sarajevo '84, was a winter multi-sport event held between 8 and 19 February 1984 in Sarajevo, SFR Yugoslavia, in what is now Bosnia and Herzegovina. International Ski Federation

The Fédération internationale de ski is the highest international governing body for skiing and snowboarding. Founded on 2 February 1924 in Chamonix, France, the FIS is responsible for the Olympic disciplines of Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, ski jumping, Nordic combined, freestyle skiing and snowboarding. The FIS is also responsible for setting the international competition rules. The organization now has a membership of 118 national ski associations and is based in Oberhofen am Thunersee, Switzerland.

4065 Meinel, provisional designation 2820 P-L, is an asteroid from the inner regions of the asteroid belt, approximately 4 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered on 24 September 1960, by Dutch astronomer couple Ingrid and Cornelis van Houten on photographic plates taken by Dutch–American astronomer Tom Gehrels at Palomar Observatory, California. The asteroid was named for American astronomer Aden Meinel.

Puerto Rico at the 2018 Winter Olympics Sporting event delegation

Puerto Rico competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, from 9 to 25 February 2018. This marked the return of the territory to the Winter Olympics for the first time since 2002. It was represented by only one athlete, alpine skier Charles Flaherty.
