Ricor Buaron

Ricor Buaron (born August 30, 1970) is a Filipino basketball referee. He began officiating FIBA-sanctioned basketball games on September 26, 2008. [1] Buaron has officiated in various international competitions including the 2013 FIBA Under-19 World Championship, and 2015 FIBA Asia Championship.

2015 FIBA Asia Championship

The 2015 FIBA Asia Championship for Men was the 28th continental basketball championship in Asia. The tournament was organised by FIBA Asia.

Buaron is also was a former referee at the UAAP games where he first officiated in 2000. [2] He also served as a referee for UNTV Cup. [3]

The UNTV Cup is a men's charity basketball league organized in the Philippines. Twelve basketball teams organized by government agencies and guested by celebrities and ex-pro and amateur players compete in the league.

2017 FIBA Asia Cup

The 2017 FIBA Asia Cup was the 29th continental basketball championship in Asia. The tournament was organised by FIBA Asia. It took place from 8 to 20 August 2017, a week earlier from the initial scheduled date, in Lebanon. The Nouhad Nawfal Arena with a capacity of 8,000 seats hosted the tournament's matches.

As the end of 2016 season, Ankaralı has officiated more than 1,000 in his career including, Turkish Basketball League, Euroleague, Eurocup, World Championship and Olympics. Recep Ankaralı is currently President of Turkish Basketball Federation Officiating Committee and also Director of Referees for Turkish Basketball Leagues.
