Coldplay are a British rock band formed in London in 1996. The band consists of vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and pianist Chris Martin; lead guitarist Jonny Buckland; bassist Guy Berryman; drummer Will Champion; and creative director Phil Harvey. They met at University College London and began playing music together from 1996 to 1998, first calling themselves Pectoralz and then Starfish.
"Get Back" is a song recorded by the British rock band the Beatles and written by Paul McCartney, originally released as a single on 11 April 1969 and credited to "The Beatles with Billy Preston". A different mix of the song became the closing track of Let It Be (1970), which released just after the group split up. Taking Back Sunday is an American rock band from Long Island, New York. The band was formed by guitarist Eddie Reyes and former bassist Jesse Lacey of Brand New in 1999. The band's members are Adam Lazzara, John Nolan, Shaun Cooper, and Mark O'Connell (drums), accompanied by Nathan Cogan (guitar) for their live performances. Nolan and Cooper initially left the group in 2003 before rejoining in 2010.
Richard Paul Astley is an English singer, songwriter and radio personality, who has been active in music for several decades. He gained worldwide fame in the 1980s, having multiple hits including his signature song "Never Gonna Give You Up", "Together Forever" and "Whenever You Need Somebody", and returned to music full-time in the 2000s. Outside his music career, Astley has occasionally worked as a radio DJ and a podcaster.
Jet are an Australian rock band formed in 2001. The band consists of lead guitarist Cameron Muncey, bassist Mark Wilson, and brothers Nic and Chris Cester on vocals/rhythm guitar and drums, respectively. The group sold 6.5 million albums. The band dissolved in 2012 but reformed in 2016.
Franz Ferdinand are a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 2002. The band's original line-up was composed of Alex Kapranos, Nick McCarthy, Bob Hardy, and Paul Thomson. Julian Corrie and Dino Bardot joined the band in 2017 after McCarthy left during the previous year, and Audrey Tait (drums) joined the band after Thomson left in 2021. The band is one of the more popular post-punk revival bands, garnering multiple UK top 20 hits. They have been nominated for several Grammy Awards and have received two Brit Awards – winning one for Best British Group – as well as one NME Award.
Mario Dewar Barrett, known mononymously as Mario, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and model. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, he signed a record deal with J Records at the age of fourteen, and recorded his eponymous debut album released in 2002. It includes the top 10 single, "Just a Friend 2002". His second album Turning Point, was released in 2004, and produced the number one single "Let Me Love You", which won him two Billboard Music Awards. His third studio album Go was released in December 2007, and included the singles "How Do I Breathe", "Crying Out for Me" and "Music for Love". His fourth studio album D.N.A. was released in 2009, and included the singles "Break Up" and "Thinkin' About You". At the end of the 2000s decade, Mario was ranked No. 98 by Billboard on their "Artist of the Decade" list. His fifth album Dancing Shadows, released in 2018, saw him in a more introspective sound than previous albums.
Best of Bowie is a 2002 greatest hits album by English recording artist David Bowie. Released in October following the critical and commercial success of the Heathen album released four months earlier in June, the songs range from his second album, David Bowie (1969) to Heathen (2002). It was released 35 years after his debut album, David Bowie (1967). In each of the 21 territories that the album was released, it was given its own track listing, based upon which songs were most popular locally. In a number of countries, there were two versions – a single-disc version, and a double-disc version. All in all 63 tracks appear in at least one of the 20 different versions. The country the edition came from can be identified by a small national flag on the spine, except for the Argentine/Mexican, Eastern European and UK editions, which are "flag-less". All the tracks are digitally remastered either from 1999 or, for the single edits, 2002, with the exception of "Under Pressure", which is also at a lower volume than the rest of the disc.
"Say It Right" is a song by Canadian singer Nelly Furtado from her third studio album, Loose (2006). Written by Furtado, Tim "Timbaland" Mosley and Nate "Danja" Hills, Furtado credited the Eurythmics song "Here Comes the Rain Again" as her inspiration. The song was released as the album's third single in North America and Australia and as the fourth single in certain European and Asian countries. It was released digitally in the United Kingdom in March 2007. It was the album's fifth single in Latin America.

A Day to Remember is an American rock band from Ocala, Florida, founded in 2003 by guitarist Tom Denney and drummer Bobby Scruggs. They are known for their amalgamation of metalcore and pop punk. The band currently consists of vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, rhythm guitarist Neil Westfall, percussionist/drummer Alex Shelnutt and lead guitarist Kevin Skaff.

So Wrong, It's Right is the second studio album by American rock band All Time Low. Following an unsuccessful showcase for Fueled by Ramen, Hopeless Records signed All Time Low in March 2006. They released an EP, Put Up or Shut Up, through the label in July of that year. After amassing 12 songs by January 2007, the band demoed some of them for Paul Leavitt. The group began recording So Wrong, It's Right in April at SOMD Studios in Beltsville, Maryland with producers Leavitt and Matt Squire. The band wrote five additional songs while in the studio. Following an acoustic tour in June, the band participated in Warped Tour, and "Dear Maria, Count Me In" was made available for streaming. After premiering a music video for "Six Feet Under the Stars", So Wrong, It's Right was released on September 25. The band spent the next three months supporting Boys Like Girls on their US tour.
Back Home is the eighth studio album by Irish boy band Westlife, released on 5 November 2007 through Syco Music, Sony Music and RCA Records, the band's ninth major album release under them as well. The album was produced by Steve Mac, Quiz & Larossi, Per Magnusson, David Kreuger and Rami Yacoub, who also produced some of the group's previous material. Back Home was the group's final album before their temporary break from music in 2008. It was also the band's fourth album to be released as a four-piece.

In 1989, a remake by Sinitta, then 25, reached No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart. The music features a significant repetitive sample from the song "Goodbye, Nothing to Say", written by Stephen Jameson and Marshall Doctores, which was recorded first by Jameson under the name of Nosmo King, and then by the Javells featuring Nosmo King, both in 1974.
