The album was released as the deluxe edition of their second studio album Eternal Atake, which was released a week before, on March 6, 2020. The album features guest appearances from American rappers Chief Keef, 21 Savage, Future, Young Thug, Gunna, Lil Durk, Young Nudy and Nav. The production was handled by Cash, Don Cannon, Nav, Pi'erre Bourne, and Wheezy, among others. The album also serves as a sequel to Lil Uzi Vert's third mixtape Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World (2016), which was released 4 years earlier.

Later that year, he released the mixtape Drip Harder with Lil Baby, which spawned the single "Drip Too Hard" that reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and eventually achieved Diamond certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Nicholas Warren Mira is an American record producer. He is known as the co-founder and flagship member of the hip hop production collective and record label Internet Money Records, which he formed alongside fellow producer Taz Taylor in 2016. He is recognized for his work with late rapper Juice Wrld, having produced his songs "Lucid Dreams," "Robbery," "Bandit," and "Lean wit Me." He also worked with rapper Lil Tecca to produce his 2019 hit song "Ransom," and took part in Internet Money's 2020 single "Lemonade." Mira's work consists primarily of hip-hop instrumentals, and released his debut album with the label, B4 the Storm (2020).

Me vs. Myself is the fourth studio album by American rapper A Boogie wit da Hoodie. It was released through Atlantic Records and Highbridge the Label on December 9, 2022. The album features guest appearances from Roddy Ricch, Tory Lanez, Kodak Black, G Herbo, Lil Durk, Don Q, and H.E.R. The deluxe edition was released three days later and included an additional guest appearance from the late PnB Rock for the only newly-added track, "Needed That". Production was handled by a variety of record producers, such as A Boogie himself, S.Dot, P2J, Kofo, Wheezy, Don Cannon, Lee Major, Sean Momberger, Rogét Chahayed, Band on the Beat, Chuck Taylor, OG Parker, Smash David, and Dez Wright, among others.
