Dot N Pro (sometimes Dot & Pro), are an American record production duo from New York City, New York consisting of S. Dot and Pro, also known as APro and Pro Da Genius. They have produced for artists including Diddy, Jeremih, 2 Chainz, Tyga, Mack Maine, and DMX.
Before becoming acquainted, they produced on separate hip hop projects, resulting in an inadvertent competition. For instance, they both produced most of the songs on Cory Gunz' mixtapes Best Kept Secret and Youngest In Charge. They subsequently formed the duo after recognizing their joint talents. [1] In 2011, they appeared on Cory Gunz' MTV docu-series, Son of a Gun. They also produced the theme song for the show, and musically directed the live series finale. [1]

The American Music Awards (AMAs) is an annual American music awards show produced by Dick Clark Productions since 1974. From 1973 to 2005, both the winners and the nominations were selected by the members of the music industry, based on commercial performance, such as sales and airplay. Since 2006, winners have been determined by a poll of the public and fans, who can vote through the AMAs website. The event originally aired on American Broadcasting Company, after the network's contract to air the Grammy Awards expired. CBS will air the 2024 edition.

Christopher Francis Ries, known professionally as Young Chris, is an American rapper. He rose to fame as one-half of the Philadelphia-based hip hop duo Young Gunz, which he formed with rapper Neef Buck in 2001. Peter Cory Pankey, Jr., better known by his stage name Cory Gunz, is an American rapper from the Bronx, New York City. He is best known for his guest appearance on Lil Wayne's 2010 single "6 Foot 7 Foot," which peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 and received septuple platinum certification by the RIAA. He signed with Wayne's Young Money Entertainment, a then-imprint of Cash Money and Universal Republic Records in August of that year, although he has released no major solo albums with the label. He starred and was the subject of the documentary series Son of a Gun in 2011, which was presented by his mentor and manager, American comedian Nick Cannon.

Produced by KNS, the song peaked at number nine on the US Billboard Hot 100, at number 21 on the UK Singles Chart, at number 29 on the Official New Zealand Music Chart, and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America on March 31, 1998, for sales of a million copies. However, the duo's success would be short-lived, as they broke up in 1999 without releasing a follow-up album or single.
Teyon Isiah Winfree, better known by his stage name Vado, is an American rapper from New York.
