Strait from the Heart is the second studio album by American country music artist George Strait, released on June 3, 1982 by MCA Records. The album includes Strait's first No. 1 single, "Fool Hearted Memory", as well as follow-up singles "Marina del Rey", "Amarillo by Morning" and "A Fire I Can't Put Out", reaching No. 6, No. 4, and No. 1 respectively on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. The album peaked at No. 18 on the US Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Strait from the Heart is certified platinum by the RIAA.
Little Texas is an American country music band started in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1988. Its founding members were Tim Rushlow, Brady Seals, Del Gray (drums), Porter Howell, Dwayne O'Brien, and Duane Propes. Signed to Warner Bros. Records Nashville in 1991, Little Texas released its debut album First Time for Everything that year. The album's lead off single, "Some Guys Have All the Love", reached a peak of No. 8 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. Little Texas charted thirteen top-40 hits between then and 1995, including the number one "My Love" in 1994. Their debut album earned a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), while 1993's Big Time was certified double platinum and 1994's Kick a Little was certified platinum.
Hot Apple Pie is the only studio album by American country music band Hot Apple Pie. It was released June 28, 2005 on DreamWorks Records Nashville. The tracks "Hillbillies", "We're Makin' Up" and "Easy Does It" were all released as singles, respectively reaching numbers 26, 54, and 50 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Due to the dissolution of the DreamWorks label in late 2005, the latter two singles were issued on MCA Nashville. "The Shape I'm In" is a cover of a song originally recorded by The Band, while "We're Makin' Up" was previously recorded by Jeffrey Steele on his 2002 album Somethin' in the Water.
Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles is a tribute album to American rock band Eagles. It was released in 1993 on Giant Records to raise funds for the Walden Woods Project. The album features covers of various Eagles songs, as performed by country music acts. It was certified 3× Platinum in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on June 27, 1994, honoring shipments of three million copies in the United States. Several cuts from the album all charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts after the album's release, the most successful being Travis Tritt's rendition of "Take It Easy" at number 21. Common Thread won all of its performers a Country Music Association Award for Album of the Year at the 1994 ceremony.

It is notable for including two covers of Bruce Springsteen songs, "Highway Patrolman" and "Johnny 99". "I'm Ragged but I'm Right," a George Jones song, was a minor hit, reaching No. 75. Johnny 99 is generally regarded as a strong release at a point in Cash's career which is considered to be the least successful; it was also the second-to-last solo album released by Cash on Columbia, prior to his move to Mercury Records. "New Cut Road" had been a relatively successful single for Bobby Bare in 1981; Paul Kennerley's "Brand New Dance" would go on to be covered, among others, by Emmylou Harris on her 1990 album of the same name.

"Ain't Nothing 'bout You", the first single, became the duo's biggest hit, not only spending six weeks at the top of the country chart, but also reaching No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was also declared by Billboard as the number-one country song of 2001. Following it were "Only in America" and "The Long Goodbye". The last two singles were the No. 5 "My Heart Is Lost to You" and the No. 12 "Every River".

Timothy Ray Rushlow is an American recording artist. Between 1991 and 1997, Rushlow was lead vocalist of country music group Little Texas, which recorded four albums and a Greatest Hits package, in addition to charting more than fifteen singles on the Billboard country singles charts during Rushlow's tenure as lead vocalist.
Rushlow was an American country music band founded in 2003. Its members were Tim Rushlow, Doni Harris, Kurt Allison, Tully Kennedy, Rich Redmond (drums), and Billy Welch (keyboards). Prior to the band's foundation, Rushlow was lead singer of Little Texas until 1997, and a solo artist between then and 2001.
Little Texas is the fourth studio album released in 1997 by the country music group Little Texas. It was their last album for Warner Bros. Records. "Bad for Us", "Your Mama Won't Let Me" and "The Call" were all released from this album, peaking at numbers 45, 64 and 71, respectively, on the Billboard country charts, making this the first album of Little Texas' career not to produce any Top 40 country hits.
Missing Years is the fifth studio album by the American country music band Little Texas. Released in 2007 on Montage Music Group, it is the band's first studio album for that label, and its first new studio album since 1997's Little Texas. It is also the first studio album not to feature former co-lead vocalists Brady Seals and Tim Rushlow. Here, lead guitarist Porter Howell serves as lead vocalist, and the other three remaining members are retained.

Tim Rushlow is the solo debut album of American country music artist Tim Rushlow, formerly co-lead vocalist of the country music band Little Texas. Released in February 2001 on Atlantic Records, it is also his only solo album, although he did release another album and two singles in the band Rushlow, as well as two more singles in the duo Rushlow Harris. Tim Rushlow accounted for four singles on the Billboard country singles charts, including "She Misses Him", his only Top 40 country hit. After Atlantic Records shut down, the album was re-released in 2002 on The Scream Recordings Label and retitled Crazy Life after the song of same. An extra track, "As Real as Forever" was included.
