Rigoberto Aguilar Pico (June 1,1905 - June 27,1974) was a Mexican politician and pediatrician. He completed his postgraduate studies in several European countries and the United States. He was a well-known pediatrician and founded the National Institute of Pediatrics. He had never been involved in politics,although it was said that he was a friend of Mr. Ángel Carvajal,who was secretary of the government. [1] He was governor of Sinaloa,replacing Enrique Pérez Arce from 1953 to 1956. Upon taking office,he found that the state government was in serious financial trouble. During his government,a lot of emphasis was placed on health and education,since the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) was established in Sinaloa with headquarters in Culiacán and 586 primary schools,20 kindergartens and various types of educational institutions were built in the entire state. [2] His administration's achievements included the expansion of the Children's Hospital in Culiacán,the building of the airport and the Rotonda of the Illustrious Persons of Sinaloa. He died in Mexico City on June 27,1974. [3]

César Raúl Meza Torres,commonly referred to by his alias "El Mini 6",was a Mexican suspected assassin of the Sinaloa Cartel,a criminal group based in Sinaloa. He was the son of Raúl Meza Ontiveros,a leader of the Sinaloa Cartel. By the age of 15,Meza Torres aspired to be like his father and became involved in organized crime. He was popular on social media for posing in pictures with his weapons and for following his father's footsteps. Meza Torres's pictures later served as inspiration for other teenagers aspiring to join organized crime in Mexico.

He was commonly referred to by his aliases "El Sargento Phoenix","El Gato Negro",and "El Talibán". Velázquez was known for his long beard and shaved head.

Same-sex marriage has been legal in Sinaloa since 30 June 2021. On 12 June 2021,a federal court ordered the Congress of Sinaloa to pass a same-sex marriage law by 15 June,in accordance with jurisprudence established by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation. Subsequently,same-sex marriage legislation passed Congress unanimously on 15 June. JoséAntonio Abundio de Jesús Rosales Flores (1822-1865) was a Mexican Brigadier General during the Reform War and the Second French intervention in Mexico. Also known as the Hero of San Pedro for his victory at the Battle of San Pedro,Rosales was the Governor of Sinaloa after overthrowing Jesús García Morales from October 5,1864,to March 9,1865,before being killed at the Battle of Álamos.
Ramón F. Iturbe was a Mexican military man and politician. He was born in Mazatlán on November 7,1889. Since he was little he had to work to support his family. He fought in the Maderista revolution. He was Governor of Sinaloa from 1917 to 1920 and focused on social justice,as he paved the road to Altata and created the Madero Hospital. During his period of government he converted the Rosales School into the University of the West and built the Garmendia Market in Culiacán. Since taking office,it has been argued that he could not be governor because he did not meet the minimum age requirements and therefore they did not let him finish his term. In 1966,he was awarded the Belisario Domínguez Medal of Honor by the Senate of the Republic. He died at the Central Military Hospital of Mexico City on October 27,1970,10 days before his 81st birthday. The cause of his death was an acute non-traumatic myocardial infarction,his remains rest in the Garden Pantheon of Mexico City located in Alcaldía Álvaro Obregón.
