Emanuel Gregers was a Danish actor, screenwriter and film director. Gregers made 36 films during a career which extended over four decades from the Danish golden age of silent film until 1949. Critics often dismissed his work as dependable yet uninspired, however many of his light-hearted comedies achieved great popularity in Denmark. Gregers most notable films were romantic comedies starring his wives Bodil Ipsen and Marguerite Viby.

Vera Margrethe Gebuhr was a Danish film, television and stage actress. Gebuhr was most noted for her portrayal of the snobbish neurotic head saleswoman Miss Jørgensen in the popular television series Matador. She trained at the Royal Danish Theatre school from 1937 to 1939 and debuted at the Folketeatret, working there until 1964. She played her first lead film role as the scheming maid in the 1943 melodrama Møllen. Gebuhr appeared in 65 films between 1937 and 2005, as well as made numerous appearances on Danish television series.

Hinrich Ladiges was a German-Danish sugar manufacturer. He owned two sugar refineries in Copenhagen and died as one of the wealthiest men in the country. He died unmarried and left much of his estate to charity. His former home at Gammeltorv 14, now known as the Holm House after a later owner, was listed on the Danish registry for protected buildings and places in 1926.
Fredrikke Johanne "Rikka" Bjølgerud Deinboll was a Norwegian librarian and translator. She is known for her work in developing school libraries in Oslo, and for creating the Norwegian name Ole Brumm for the character Winnie-the-Pooh when she produced the first Norwegian translation of the book Winnie-the-Pooh in 1932, six years after it was published in English.
