Rindra Hasimbelo Rabarinirinarison is a Malagasy politician who has served as Minister of Economy and Finance in the government of Madagascar [1] since August 2021.
Rabarinirinarison has degrees in public management from Georgia State University and in public procurement from the International Law Institute (Washington DC). [2]
Rabarinirinarison was the head the public procurement commission of Madagascar from 2016 [2] to 2020. Then she became a senior official in the finance ministry. [3] Andry Rajoelina appointed her as the Minister of Economy and Finance in August 2021. [3] [4] Under her leadership, the Malagasy economy grew 4% in 2023 and a $100 million Development Policy Operation (DPO) agreement has been made with the World Bank. [5]
