The Ringwood and District Cricket Association (or, better known as the RDCA) is a club cricket competition based in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. The competition consists of 31 clubs based around the Ringwood area of Melbourne and has been running seasonally since its induction in 1920/21 season.
In the 2006/07 season, the Association consisted of 32 grades ranging from Under 12's through to Veteran and Master classes. In addition, the RDCA also operate non-competitive grades in both Under 10 and Under 12 levels to assist in the development of the game.
In senior competition, Division 1 is known as the Lindsay Trollope Shield, Division 2 as the Wilkins Cup and Division 3 as the Newey Plate. These three divisions are composed predominantly of the first eleven of each club. Lower sides compete in a grading system from A Grade to M grade.
Prior to the 2010/11 season, Division 1 was known as the Chandler Shield. The name was changed to the Lindsay Trollope Shield between seasons at the RDCA AGM in August 2010 in recognition of his contributions to the RDCA for many years.

Koomba Park is one of the parks comprising the Dandenong Valley Parklands in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. It consists of 92 hectares of which 33 hectares are publicly accessible, and is bounded by Dandenong Creek, Boronia Road, EastLink, Mountain Highway and Burwood Highway in a clockwise direction. It is managed primarily by VicRoads and Parks Victoria. The park opened in December 1981, and its land was previously used for cattle grazing and apple orchards. The surrounding area is still used for grazing. There are three major power transmission lines running through the park: Rowville-Templestowe Single Circuit Southern, and Rowville-Ringwood.

Silvan Province was an electorate of the Victorian Legislative Council. It existed as a two-member electorate from 1992 to 2006, with members holding alternating eight-year terms. It was considered a safe seat for the Liberal Party for much of its history, but was a surprise gain for the Labor Party in the party's landslide victory at the 2002 state election. The electorate saw some controversy in its final term when both its members, Labor MLC Carolyn Hirsh and Liberal MLC Andrew Olexander were expelled from their respective parties for drink-driving offences. The electorate was abolished from the 2006 state election in the wake of the Bracks Labor government's reform of the Legislative Council.
The Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association (VSDCA) is a turf cricket competition based in Melbourne, Australia. There are 32 clubs each fielding four teams plus an under 15 team in the annual J.G Craig shield competition, which is regarded as the premier competition for the future of Victorian cricket. There are four divisions. In first and second grade these divisions rotate annually to ensure every club plays each other at least once every three years. In third and fourth division these do not change and the two 'leagues' are South-East and North-West.
Established in 1855, the Warrandyte Cricket Club is located in the eastern suburbs of Victoria, Australia, and is the 3rd oldest active cricket club in the state. Social games were played at the Recreation Reserve in Andersons Creek against neighbouring suburbs until the club entered the Cameron Cricket Association, playing its first game in competition on 11 November 1905 against Christmas Hills. Season 2010/11 was the club's 100th in competition, and during that time over 1,300 people have played in either juniors, seniors, women's or veterans grades. The club currently competes in the Ringwood and District Cricket Association (RDCA)
