The River Waldron is a small river in Staffordshire and Cheshire in north west England. It drains water from the area between Audley and Crewe, and joins the River Weaver to the west of Crewe (grid reference SJ664560 ). It is known by several different names along its length, including Alsager Brook and Valley Brook. Its principal tributaries are Wistaston Brook and Barthomley Brook.
It rises in Parrot's Drumble on the outskirts of Talke, and flows roughly westwards through Alsager and Crewe.

Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) is located in the centre of Manchester, England. The university has over 40,000 students and over 4,000 members of staff. It is home to four faculties and is one of the largest universities in the UK, measured by the size of its student population in 2020/21.
Crewe is a railway town and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East in Cheshire, England. The civil parish of Crewe had a population of 55,318 in the 2021 census. The larger Crewe built-up area, which also covers parts of the adjacent civil parishes of Willaston, Shavington cum Gresty and Wistaston, had a total population of 76,437 in 2021.
Alsager is a town and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East in Cheshire, England. It is located to the north-west of Stoke-on-Trent and east of Crewe. The town's population was 13,389 at the 2021 census.

Alsager Town Football Club is a football club, based in Alsager, Cheshire, England. The club are currently members of North West Counties League Division One South and play at Wood Park Stadium. Barthomley is a village and ancient parish, and is now a civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. According to the 2001 and the 2011 census' the parish had a population of 202. The village is situated near junction 16 of the M6 motorway and by the border with Staffordshire. It is about three miles south-west of Alsager.
Alsager railway station serves the town of Alsager in Cheshire, England. It stands next to a level crossing and is approximately 600 yards from the town centre. The station is 6+1⁄2 miles (10.5 km) east of Crewe on the Crewe–Derby line which is also a Community rail line known as the North Staffordshire line. The station is owned by Network Rail and managed by East Midlands Railway.
South Cheshire College is a former further education college, located in Crewe, Cheshire, England. The College was a single campus situated in a residential area about one mile from Crewe town centre. It also served students from Nantwich, Alsager, Middlewich, Sandbach, Congleton and throughout South and East Cheshire. The College also provided courses for adults at a range of centres, including high street locations in Middlewich and Congleton.
Crewe was a constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1885 to 1983. It elected one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.
The Crewe–Derby line is a railway line in central England, running from Crewe in a south-easterly direction to Derby, via Stoke-on-Trent and Uttoxeter. Passenger services on the line are provided by East Midlands Railway.
Crewe Green is a small village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Weston and Crewe Green, in the unitary authority area of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The village lies 1½ miles to the east of the centre of Crewe. The parish also includes a dispersed settlement of houses and farms called Slaughter Hill, the Jacobean mansion of Crewe Hall, and the industrial estates of Crewe Hall Enterprise Park and Crewe Hall Farm. Nearby villages include Haslington and Stowford.
Weston is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Weston and Crewe Green, in the unitary authority area of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The village lies 3 miles to the south east of Crewe. The parish also includes the small settlements of Carters Green, Gorstyhill, Rose Hill, Snape, Stowford and part of Englesea Brook, as well as the new settlements of Wychwood Park and Wychwood Village. Plans in 2015 to develop a golf course surrounding Wychwood Village for residential housing have been opposed by some residents. The plans were refused planning permission by Cheshire East Council; the developer was later unsuccessful in an appeal to the Secretary of State and the council's refusal was upheld. Nearby villages include Basford, Hough and Shavington. In 2011 the parish had a population of 1,855.
Christ Church Alsager is in the town of Alsager, Cheshire, England. Its mission is to love God and to love others. Alsager Road railway station was a station on the North Staffordshire Railway, which operated in the West Midlands county of Staffordshire, in England. The station was located on the outskirts of Alsager.
St Mary Magdalene's Church is in Crewe Road, Alsager, Cheshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Congleton, the archdeaconry of Macclesfield, and the diocese of Chester. Dedicated to Jesus' companion Mary Magdalene, it is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.
St Philip's Church is in New Inn Lane, Hassall Green, Cheshire, England. It is an active Anglican church in the parish of Wheelock, the benefice of Sandbach Heath with Wheelock, the deanery of Congleton, the archdeaconry of Macclesfield, and the diocese of Chester. The other churches in the benefice are St John the Evangelist, Sandbach Heath, and Christ Church, Wheelock. Being a prefabricated building constructed in corrugated galvanised iron, it is popularly referred to as a tin tabernacle.
Ryan Frank Wintle is an English professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for EFL Championship club Cardiff City. He has previously played for Alsager Town and Crewe Alexandra; in August 2021, he was loaned by Cardiff to Blackpool for a four-month loan spell.
