The Texas League is a Minor League Baseball league which operates in the South Central United States. It is classified as a Double-A league. Despite the league's name, only its four South Division teams are actually based in Texas; the four North Division teams are located in surrounding states of Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri. The league maintains its headquarters in Fort Worth.

Globe Life Park in Arlington is a multi-purpose stadium in Arlington, Texas, located between Dallas and Fort Worth. Originally built as a baseball park, it was home to the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball and the Texas Rangers Baseball Hall of Fame from 1994 until 2019 when the team vacated the stadium for Globe Life Field. It was constructed as a replacement for nearby Arlington Stadium and opened in April 1994 as The Ballpark in Arlington.

LaGrave Field is an abandoned baseball park in Fort Worth, Texas. It was primarily used for baseball and was the home field of the Fort Worth Cats independent minor league baseball team. Its original version was the home of the predecessor Panthers/Cats team of the Texas League from 1926–1958; the American Association in 1959; and then in the Texas League again in 1964. It also served as the part-time home of the Dallas Rangers during 1960–1962. The ballpark was rebuilt during 2001 and opened in 2002 after the club played one season at Lon Goldstein Field.

AirHogs Stadium is a stadium in Grand Prairie, Texas. It is primarily used for soccer as the home of the USL2's Texas United. Prior to 2020, it was used mainly for baseball as the home of the American Association's Texas AirHogs, who were the primary tenants from 2008 to 2020. It has a capacity of 5,445 people and opened in May 2008. The stadium plays host to various other concerts and events throughout the year. For a period of time, it was known as QuikTrip Park due to the sponsorship by the convenience store chain. In 2015, the city of Grand Prairie paid off the debt to build the stadium.
Obert Clark "Butch" Logan was an American football safety in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints. He played college football at Trinity University. Logan, whose nickname was "The Little O", was the last person in the NFL to wear the single digit 0 before its use was discontinued by the league.

Disch Field was a baseball field located in Austin, TX that opened in 1947 and hosted many minor league teams and playoff series. The diamond is at the present time part of the park behind The Long Center for the Performing Arts and the Palmer Events Complex between W. Riverside Drive and Barton Springs Road in South Austin, along the Colorado River. The park includes an open area called Willie Wells Field, named for the Austin-born Negro league baseball legend.

Panther Park was the name of two ballparks located in Fort Worth, TX and was the home of the Fort Worth Panthers from 1911 to 1925. It was originally called Morris Park during its first four seasons. The facility replaced Hayne's Park which existed from 1901 to 1910. The first park seated only 4,000 fans. The 3rd base grandstand did not have a canopy to protect the fans from the relentless heat. The 1st base grandstand had a canopy, and the 3rd base side later had a canopy added to connect to the 3rd base side. Panther Park (1911-1925) was located east of North Main between 6th and 7th Streets. The Panthers won six consecutive Texas League crowns from 1920 to 1925. In 1919, they were the runners-up to Shreveport as they lost 4 games to 2 in the championship series even though they finished the regular season at the top of the standings. Oak Cliff Park was a minor league baseball park located in Dallas, Texas, and the home of the inaugural Texas League champion Dallas Hams in 1888. The ballpark existed in the bottom of the Trinity River; the Houston Street viaduct presently goes over where right field existed.
