Roan Frostwick (born 21 July 2000) [1] is a Scottish rugby union player for Edinburgh in the Pro14. Frostwick's primary position is scrum-half.
Prior to his professional career Frostwick played for North Berwick Rugby Club and Currie Chieftains. Frostwick has also made a number of appearances for Watsonians Rugby Club in the FOSROC SUPER6 campaign.
Frostwick signed for Edinburgh academy in June 2020. [2] He made his Pro14 debut in the final round of the 2019–20 Pro14 against Glasgow Warriors. [3] [4]
Frostwick in November 2021 was put on loan to English Championship side Ampthill Rugby Club, to gain valuable game time. He made his debut for Ampthill on the 4th of December. Frostwick started consistently for the Ampthill side until Edinburgh required him back in early February 2022. Later, winning the Super6 Sprint Series campaign with Watsonians.
In early June 2022, Frostwick moved to Sydney Australia to play for Shute Shield side, Warringah. It is believed Frostwick returned to the Scottish Capital after the 21/22 Shute Shield season came to an end in early September to join up with Edinburgh Rugby again, whilst turning out for top of the table Super6 side, Watsonians.
Glasgow Warriors are a professional rugby union side from Scotland. The team plays in the United Rugby Championship league and in the European Professional Club Rugby tournaments. In the 2014–15 season they won the Pro12 title and became the first Scottish team to win a major trophy in rugby union's professional era. In 2023-24 they became the first Scottish side to win the United Rugby Championship in its current form. The side is known for its fast, dynamic and attacking style of play, using offloads and quick rucks. Defensively the club prides itself on its 'Fortress Scotstoun' where the club play at home.
Ayr Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club. Its professional men's side currently plays as Ayrshire Bulls in the Super 6 competition; and its women's side play in the Scottish Womens National One. The club also runs a "Club XV" which competes in the Tennent's National League 1, a 2nd XV "Ayr-Millbrae", which plays in the SRU West Reserve League Division 1, and various age group teams, from age 4, up to age 18.

The Scottish Rugby Academy provides Scotland's up and coming rugby stars a dedicated focused routeway for development into the professional game. Entry is restricted to Scottish qualified students and both male and female entrants are accepted into 4 regional academies. The 2018–19 season sees the fourth year of the academy, now sponsored by Fosroc.
