Robert Andrew Wakenshaw (born 22 December 1965) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker.
Wakenshaw played for Everton, Carlisle United, Doncaster Rovers, Rochdale, Crewe Alexandra, Fleetwood, Northwich Victoria and Southport. [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]
He also participated at the 1985 FIFA World Youth Championship. [10]
His two sons were attacked by a football hooligan in October 2014. [11]
Stephen Nicol is a Scottish retired professional footballer who mainly played as a right back and occasionally played in other positions across defence and midfield. He played for the successful Liverpool teams of the 1980s. He was also a regular member of the Scotland national team and represented his country at the 1986 FIFA World Cup.
