Robert Gillespie Adamson IV (born July 11, 1985) is an American actor, best known for his roles as Phil Sanders on the television series Hollywood Heights, Charles Antoni on Lincoln Heights, and Noah Newman on the CBS Daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless .
Adamson was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and spent his childhood in St. George. He lived in Hawaii, then returned to Utah to attend Alta High School. [1] He became interested in acting the summer before his senior year, when he auditioned for a Shakespeare Festival. To his surprise, he was cast in Othello . He went on to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. [2]
Adamson's early credits include guest appearances on Cold Case and It's Always Sunny in Philadephia. He was cast in a Disney Channel Original Movie, Princess Protection Program, co-starring with Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez. [3]
He soon landed a regular role as Charles on the ABC Family drama series, Lincoln Heights. [2] Adamson then played another regular role as Phil on Hollywood Heights. This lead to him being cast as Noah Newman on the CBS Daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless, replacing Kevin Schmidt. He first aired on October 1, 2012. [4] [5] [6]
Adamson was dropped to recurring status at The Young and the Restless in 2016. [7] He announced in February 2018 that he had been dismissed from the show. [8] He made a short return to the role in 2020. [9]
In 2022, Adamson temporarily played Michael Corinthos on General Hospital, replacing Chad Duell while he was ill. [10]
Adamson and then-fiancée Linsey Godfrey welcomed daughter Aleda Seren on June 12, 2014. [11] He and Godfrey made their last public appearance together on April 26, 2015, at the Daytime Emmy Awards. [12] On August 3, 2015, after months of speculation, a representative for The Bold and the Beautiful confirmed that Adamson and Godfrey had ended their engagement but would continue to raise their daughter "in a loving and amicable environment and her needs will always be their common priority". [13]

Christian Jules LeBlanc is an American actor, best known for his role as Michael Baldwin on The Young and the Restless.
Jack Stephen Burton is an American actor, best known for his portrayal of Jason Morgan on General Hospital from 1991 to 2012 and 2017 to 2021, again in March 2024, and Dylan McAvoy on The Young and the Restless from 2013 to 2017. Introduced in 1997, the character was first portrayed by several child actors before being rapidly aged. Kevin Schmidt was the first actor to play Noah after being aged, appearing from 2008 to September 2010, when the role was recast with Luke Kleintank before being let go in April 2011 with Schmidt being rehired. Schmidt was again let go in 2012 and replaced by Robert Adamson, who held the role until his departure in 2018; he reprised the role twice in 2020. Rory Gibson debuted in the role in 2021.
