Robert Couturier (born 1955) is a French architect and decorator best known for designing Cuixmala, formerly the estate of British-French billionaire Sir James Goldsmith. [1] [2]

Biography

Robert Couturier is a graduate of the École Camondo in Paris. He moved to New York in 1981. [3] In 1987, Sir James Goldsmith commissioned Couturier to re-conceptualize his 30,000-acre nature reserve on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. [4] [5] Couturier went on to decorate Goldsmith's Boeing 757, his double-width Manhattan townhouse, and his historic French chateau.

Couturier has worked with clients such as Anne Hearst and Jay McInerney, [6] Frederick Iseman, and Frédéric Fekkai. [7] In June 2012, Elle Decor included Couturier in its "A-list Top 60 Designers", while the British magazine House and Garden named him one of the top 10 foreign decorators. [8] [9] He also collectects furniture and art including pieces by Ingrid Donat. [10]

In October, 2014, he released the book, Robert Couturier: Designing Paradises.[ citation needed ] In 2021, Architectural Digest inducted Couturier into the AD100 Hall of Fame. [11] He formerly lived in Connecticut with his partner Jeffrey Morgan [12] and now lives in New York City. [13]

Timothy Corrigan is an interior designer with offices in Los Angeles and Paris. His firm, Timothy Corrigan, Inc., specializes in interior design and incorporates antiques into most of its projects. His clients include European and Middle Eastern royalty, Hollywood celebrities and corporate leaders.

Sheila Bridges is an American interior designer who founded her own firm, Sheila Bridges Design, Inc., in 1994.

James Huniford or Ford Huniford is an American designer. After founding his own design firm Huniford Design Studio, his ensuing work within the residential design built his reputation in New York with work appearing in Architectural Digest, W Magazine, Vogue, the New York Times, and Elle Decor. He was chosen by New York Spaces as a 'Top 50' designer of 2015 and was among Elle Decor's 2016 and 2011 'A-List's stating his work as "decorating at its most muscular and glamorous".
