Robert G. May

Robert George May is an American retired accountant and academic administrator.

May earned his bachelor's and doctoral degrees from Michigan State University and began teaching at the University of Texas at Austin in 1979. [1] [2] He was named interim dean of the University of Texas College of Business Administration in 1995, and formally appointed to the post in 1996. [2] He stepped down as dean in 2002, [2] and remained on the faculty until his retirement from teaching in 2013. [3] Over the course of his career at UTAustin, May held an endowed professorship in accounting, which changed its name from the KPMG Professorship, to the KPMG Peat Marwick Professorship, and by his retirement, had become known as the KPMG Centennial Professorship. [1] [3]

Joel Dean (1906–1979) was an economist best known for his contributions to corporate finance theory in general, and particularly to the area of capital budgeting. He is regarded as one of the founders of business economics. His work on pricing remains influential in marketing.

Jeffrey D. Gramlich is Professor of Accounting, Howard D. and B. Phyllis Hoops Endowed Chair in Accounting and Director of the Hoops Institute of Taxation Research and Policy at Washington State University. From 2003 to 2014, Professor Gramlich served as the L.L. Bean/Lee Surace Endowed Chair at the University of Southern Maine. He has been a Guest Professor at Copenhagen Business School on several occasions since his initial visit in 1996.
