Robert Boyde Gartrell (born 9 March 1962), is a former Australian cricketer who played first-class cricket for Tasmania and Western Australia from 1984 to 1987. He also represented Western Australia in List A cricket on three occasions.

Gartrell was born in Middle Swan, Western Australia. He was a left-handed batsman, and made one first-class century in his career.

The Western Australia cricket team, nicknamed the Western Warriors, represent the Australian state of Western Australia in Australian domestic cricket. Robert Edwin Bush Politician, Cricketer

Robert Edwin Bush was a British explorer, businessman, sportsman, and politician who was primarily known for his activities in colonial Western Australia. Arriving there in the 1870s, he was one of the settlers in the Gascoyne region and took up a number of pastoral lease. He served on the Western Australian Legislative Council from 1890 to 1893. He eventually returned to England where he was a High Sheriff of Bristol and Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire.

Geoffrey Robert Marsh is a former Australian cricketer, coach and selector. He played 50 Test matches and 117 One Day Internationals for Australia as an opening batsman. As the coach of Australia he was in charge when Australia won the 1999 Cricket World Cup in England. He later coached Zimbabwe (2001–2004) and Sri Lanka (2011–12).

The 2017–18 Sheffield Shield season was the 116th season of the Sheffield Shield, the domestic first-class cricket competition in Australia. It started on 26 October 2017 and finished on 27 March 2018. The opening round of matches were played as day/night fixtures and the first three rounds of matches took place before the Ashes series. Victoria were the defending champions.
