After her playing career she was head coach for the national team for two years, and later coach for various clubs. She was a Norway champion in discus throw three times.

Berge was previously the coach of the Norwegian national team. He placed second at the World Championship in 2017 and 2019, and third at the 2020 European Championship with the national team.
