History

Before the product's launch, Lenney and Marriott began an Instagram page teasing the launch of the new product. The pair wore t-shirts reading "FOLLOW @roddsroddsrodds" in various YouTube videos leading viewers to follow the accounts online, which reached over 95,000 followers before launch. [1]

Speaking to The Times , Lenney said "We felt like you would go into the store and you’d end up with a milkshake instead of an iced coffee. We just didn’t really like the feel and the amount of sugar and the calories in some of them". [1]

Overview

Rodd's is sold in 250ml bottles at £2.20 per bottle. [2] It is marketed to a Gen Z audience. [2] The product's label is mostly black with a pair of eyes on the front as well as the logo and coloured stamp depending on which of the four flavours the bottle contains.
