Roger Kjendalen (born 6 June 1965) is a Norwegian handball player. [1] He played 242 matches and scored 930 goals for the Norway men's national handball team between 1985 and 1998. [2] He participated at the 1993 World Men's Handball Championship.
While playing for SG Flensburg-Handewitt, he won the EHF Cup with the club in 1997. [1]
The European Men's Handball Championship is the official competition for senior men's national handball teams of Europe and takes place every two years since 1994, in the even-numbered year between the World Championship. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the nation's debut in 1900, Norwegian athletes have appeared in every edition of the Summer Olympic Games, except for two occasions: the 1904 Summer Olympics in St. Louis and the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, due to the country's support for the United States-led boycott.
