The Queensland Cup, currently known as the Hostplus Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the highest-level regional rugby league football competition in Queensland, Australia. It is run by the Queensland Rugby League (QRL) and is contested by fifteen teams, thirteen of which are based in Queensland, with one based in New South Wales and one in Central Province, Papua New Guinea.
Central Coast Stadium is a sports venue in Gosford, on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. From the establishment of the first venue at the site in 1915 it was known as Waterside Park, being renamed Grahame Park after significant expansion in 1939. Since then it has had several names incorporating that name, but as of 2024 it is called Industree Group Stadium under naming rights. The stadium is home to the Central Coast Mariners Association football club which competes in the A-League. Born in New Zealand, he represented Australia in rugby league and New Zealand in rugby union in a twenty-two year career as a player, starting at age nineteen and finishing at age forty-one. He was the head coach of the Australian Super Rugby Pacific team, the Queensland Reds. Thorn is their second longest-serving coach in history and their longest serving coach in the professional era.

The Fijian Drua is a professional rugby union team based in Fiji that competes in the Super Rugby. The team previously competed in the Australian National Rugby Championship competition between 2017 and 2019, when the tournament was disbanded.
