Prashanth Thiagarajan, known professionally as Prashanth, is an Indian actor and businessman, known for his works predominantly in Tamil cinema. Besides Tamil films, he has also appeared in few Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam films. At the peak of his career in the late 1990s, Prashanth was one of the popular actors in South India. He has won a Kalaimamani Award from the Government of Tamil Nadu. The son of actor-director Thiagarajan, Prashanth began his career at 17 by appearing in Vaigasi Poranthachu (1990) and went on to feature in other films including Balu Mahendra's Vanna Vanna Pookkal (1992), R. The success of this film saw him garner opportunities to work in bigger film projects and in the late 1990s, he featured in a series of breakthrough films such as Kannedhirey Thondrinal (1998), Kaadhal Kavithai (1998), Jodi (1999), Parthen Rasithen (2000) and Piriyadha Varam Vendum (2001).
Srinivasa Sarja, better known by his stage name Arjun Sarja or simply Arjun, is an Indian actor, producer, and director who works predominantly in Tamil cinema in addition to Telugu and Kannada films and a few Malayalam and Hindi films. Jiiva is an Indian actor and film producer who works mainly in Tamil cinema and a few Hindi and Malayalam films. He is the youngest son of film producer R. B. Choudary. He began his career as a child actor in 1991 in films produced by his father. He made his debut as a lead actor in his father's 50th production, Aasai Aasaiyai (2003). After Sivaji Ganesan, Jiiva is the only Tamil actor to have been awarded at the Cyprus International Film Festival, particularly for his performance in Raam (2005).

Nani Gentleman is a 2016 Indian Telugu-language romantic thriller film directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti who wrote the film with R. David Nathan. Produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad's Sridevi Movies, Gentleman stars Nani in double role alongside Surbhi, Nivetha Thomas, Tanikella Bharani, Srinivas Avasarala and Vennela Kishore. The film narrates the story of two women, Aishwarya and Catherine, whose respective lovers, Jayaram and Gautham, are lookalikes. When Gautham dies in an accident, Catherine suspects Jai's role in it and spies on him, which reveals further truths about Jai and the people around him, including Gautham.
Adhe Kangal is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by debutant Rohin Venkatesan and produced by C. V. Kumar. The film features Kalaiyarasan, Janani and Sshivada in the lead roles and Bala Saravanan in a supporting role. The music was composed by Ghibran with cinematography by Ravivarman Neelamegam and editing by Leo John Paul. The film had a theatrical release on 26 January 2017, coinciding with India's Republic Day to unanimously positive reviews. The film was declared as a sleeper hit at the box office.

Theera Kaadhal is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Rohin Venkatesan. The film stars Jai, Aishwarya Rajesh and Sshivada in lead roles. The music was composed by Siddhu Kumar with cinematography by Ravivarman Neelamegam and editing by Prasanna GK. The film released on 26 May 2023 to mostly positive reviews from critics and became an decent hit at the box office.
Nelson Venkatesan is an Indian film director, who has directed Tamil language films. He rose to fame through the romantic drama Oru Naal Koothu (2016), and has gone on to make feature films including the comedy drama Monster (2019) and the thriller drama Farhana (2023).
