Rokker Radio was a programme on BBC Three Counties Radio from April 2006 to late 2008 for Romanies and the travelling community. [1]
Used to go out on Sunday evenings from 19:00 to 21:00. In August 2006, the programme expanded to several BBC Local Radio Stations across the east of England including BBC Radio Essex, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire and BBC Radio Norfolk. One of the secondary purposes of Rokker Radio is to educate the 'settled' community in the ways and lifestyles of People of No Fixed Abode, showmen, travellers (or those who would be).
The show was first produced by Karen Shrosbery, then Paul Scoins, David Landau and Victoria Cook and was presented by Romani journalist Jake Bowers.

The BBC News channel is a British free-to-air public broadcast television news channel owned and operated by the BBC. The channel is based at and broadcasts from Broadcasting House in the West End of London from which it is anchored during British daytime, with overnight broadcasts anchored from Washington, D.C. and Singapore. It was launched as BBC News 24 on 9 November 1997 at 5:30 pm as part of the BBC's foray into digital domestic television channels, becoming the first competitor to Sky News, which had been running since 1989.

The BBC Light Programme was a national radio station which broadcast chiefly mainstream light entertainment and light music from 1945 until 1967, when it was replaced by BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2. Dispatches is a British current affairs documentary programme on Channel 4, first broadcast on 30 October 1987. The programme covers issues about British society, politics, health, religion, international current affairs and the environment, and often features a mole inside organisations under journalistic investigation.
Heinz Rökker was a German night fighter pilot in the Luftwaffe during World War II. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. The Knight's Cross, and its variants were the highest awards in the military and paramilitary forces of Nazi Germany during World War II. He claimed 64 enemy aircraft shot down, and all were British bombers. Rökker was the eighth-most-successful night fighter pilot in the history of aerial warfare. He died in August 2018 at the age of 97.
Thinking Allowed is a radio discussion programme broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on Wednesday afternoons between 16:00 and 16:30 and repeated between 00:15 and 00:45 on Monday mornings. It focuses on the latest social science research and is hosted by Laurie Taylor, who was formerly a Professor of Sociology at the University of York. The programme was first broadcast in 1998. Occasionally, special editions of the programme are produced in co-operation with the Open University.
BCB 106.6fm is a radio station that allows the community to get involved and record and broadcast their own programmes. Licensed to Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, the station is owned by Bradford Community Broadcasting Ltd. It is regulated by OFCOM.
Good Morning Scotland is a Scottish breakfast radio news programme on BBC Radio Scotland, broadcast weekdays from 06:00 to 09:00 and produced by BBC News Scotland. Established in 1973, it is the longest-running radio show broadcast from Scotland and remains one of the most popular. Weekend editions, broadcast between 08:00 and 10:00, were introduced in early 2015.
Steve Wright in the Afternoon was the name given to the English DJ Steve Wright's popular radio shows. Wright's afternoon show was known by that name from 1989.
The Westminster Hour is a British political news review produced by BBC News, broadcast on BBC Radio 4 each Sunday evening between 22:00 and 23:00. The programme began to be broadcast in April 1998.

Since launching in 1967, the station broadcasts a wide range of content. The 'About Radio 2' BBC webpage says: "With a repertoire covering more than 40 years, Radio 2 plays the widest selection of music on the radio—from classic and mainstream pop to a specialist portfolio including classical, country, folk, jazz, soul, rock 'n' roll, gospel and blues."
The Sunday Hour was a long-standing show broadcast on the BBC Light Programme and then BBC Radio 2 in the United Kingdom, broadcast for 78 years between 14 July 1940 and 28 January 2018.
