Rolando Magbanua (born March 17, 1985) is a Filipino professional boxer.
He is the current interim WBO Oriental bantamweight champion.
Magbanua made his professional debut on January 20, 2007, defeating Joe Galamition at the NotreDame of Midsayap Gym in Midsayap, Cotabato, Philippines.

Born in Pototan, Iloilo, Philippines, she retired from education and became a housewife shortly after her marriage to Alejandro Balderas, a wealthy landowner from Sara, Iloilo. When the 1896 Philippine Revolution against Spain broke out, she became one of only a few women to join the Panay-based Visayan arm of the Katipunan, the initially secret revolutionary society headed by Andrés Bonifacio.
The Manobo languages are a group of languages spoken in the Philippines. Their speakers are primarily located around Northern Mindanao, Central Mindanao and Caraga regions where they are natively spoken. Some outlying groups make Manobo geographically discontiguous as other speakers can be located as far as the southern peninsula of Davao Oriental, most of Davao Occidental and coastal areas of Sultan Kudarat. The Battle of Yating occurred on 3 December 1898 in Mount Yating, Pilar, Capiz province, between the colonial forces of the Spanish Empire and that of Ejercito Libertador of Provisional Revolutionary Government of Visayas under the Visayan Teresa "Nay Isa" Magbanua. The Battle of Balantang, also known as the Second Battle of Jaro, was fought in the early stages of the Philippine–American War. It was an organized counterattack by Filipino forces on U.S. forces that was executed on March 10, 1899, which resulted in the retaking the town of Jaro on the island of Panay in the Philippines. Filipino revolutionaries led by General Pascual Magbanua together with his sister Teresa Magbanua launched an attack, despite the disadvantages in training and equipment. The battle resulted in Philippine forces retaking Jaro from U.S forces. The number of Filipino casualties was not recorded. Because of her valor, Teresa Magbanua was given a prominent place in the celebration, and led her troops into the city while riding upon a white horse.

Cotabato's 1st congressional district is one of the three congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Cotabato. It has been represented in the House of Representatives since 1987. The district covers western Cotabato, bordered on three sides by the province of Maguindanao and which, since 2019, contains several exclaves of the Bangsamoro autonomous region. It consists of the municipalities of Alamada, Aleosan, Libungan, Midsayap, Pigcawayan and Pikit.
