François Civil is a French actor. He has appeared in both French and English-language productions and is known for his roles in films such as Frank (2014), As Above, So Below (2014), Five (2016), Burn Out (2017), Love at Second Sight (2019), The Wolf's Call (2019), Who You Think I Am (2019), Someone, Somewhere (2019), BAC Nord (2021), for voicing Buzz Lightyear in the French version of the animated film Lightyear (2022), and for playing D'Artagnan in The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan (2023) and The Three Musketeers: Milady (2023). It stars François Civil as a 19-year-old carefree rescuer who joins a group of 15 young men from the French Resistance in 1944. The film was released theatrically in France by Shellac Distribution on 5 January 2011.
Territory of Love is a 2018 romantic drama film written and directed by Romain Cogitore, starring Déborah François and Paul Hamy. The film was co-produced by France and Taiwan and made its world premiere at the Rencontres du Cinéma Francophone en Beaujolais on 8 November 2018, where it won the Audience Award. It was released theatrically in Taiwan by House on Fire on 16 November 2018, and in France by Dulac Distribution on 5 June 2019.
