Romulo Galicano (born February 4, 1945, in Carcar Cebu) is a Filipino painter whose works are technically academic and philosophical approach. His paintings shows invoice and broad meaning that can be depicted through canvas. He had numerous one man show and won various awards. He had been judge for several competitions like in PLDT-DPC Telephone cover 8th visual art national and UST on-the-spot painting competition. [1]
Education
Born to a family of artist, Galicano studied artistry during 1961-1965 under his uncle, the Cebuano realist master Martino Abellana. In 1965 Galicano arrived in Manila and took up fine arts at the University of the East where he was attending apprenticeship under the care of abstract painter Florencio Conception who taught him abstract design and to seek aesthetic training under SY (Sofronio Y. Mendoza). In 1968 he begin his full-time studies in painting, afterwards he started painting together with the Dimasalang group during 1969–1975.

Winner Jumalon is a Filipino contemporary visual artist based in Manila. Also known as "Keiye Miranda", daughter of the famous painter, Nemesio Miranda Jr. She was known for her underwater pool themed paintings. She had her first solo exhibition at Surrounded by Water in Angono, Rizal and also had a show in a gallery that her family is managing in SM Megamall at the Nemiranda Arthouse where she first started to do her underwater themed painting. She was inspired to continue her underwater-themed paintings after receiving positive feedback from her family and peers.
Anita Magsaysay-Ho was a Filipina painter who specialized in Social Realism and post-Cubism in regard to women in Filipino culture. Magsaysay-Ho's work appeals to Modernism by utilizing more abstract designs and styles rather than realistic approaches. She was the only female member of the "Thirteen Moderns," a standing group of Filipino modernist artists, and in 1958 was chosen by a panel of experts as one of the six major painters of the country's history. The most famous work of Magsaysay-Ho are subject to the beauty of Filipino women dealing with everyday issues. Collections of her artwork can be found in museums around the Philippines.
Danilo Palomer Santiago is a Full-time Filipino Eclectic painter, professor and Department Chair of University of Santo Tomas - College of Fine Arts and Design (UST-CFAD), Painting Department. His murals are displayed at the Malacaňang Palace, UST Main Building - Faculty of Civil Law and Veterans Memoraila Medical Center and whose works won awards in various art competitions.
