Ron Link (Nijmegen, 22 September 1979) is a Dutch singer and actor in musical theatre.
He began his career as a model for a sauna promotion. In 2004, he competed in the Dutch version Idols where he managed to reach the final 10 but was ultimately voted off in the third round, making him the eighth finalist. [1] Since then he has made numerous appearances on television programs in the Netherlands. [1]
In 2006, he was chosen in the TV show Wie Wordt Tarzan? (Who is going to be Tarzan?) to play Tarzan in the Dutch version of the musical. [2] The program had one of the highest audience shares of any television program in the Netherlands.[ citation needed ] Link is played the role in the Netherlands and continued with the production when it moved to Sweden. In preparing for the role, Link got to work with such notable artists as Phil Collins. [2] [3] In 2007, he was awarded with the Nashuatec Musical Award (John Kraaijkamp Musical Award) for new musical talent. Link was seen in cabaret group Purple in 2011. [4]
In 2012, he competed on season 3 of The Voice of Holland , where he was chosen to be on Trijntje Oosterhuis' team.
In 2013, he was performing as lead singer of the Dutch band Colibri. [5]
Link was in a committed relationship with fellow Idol star Jamai Loman from 2004 when they met on the program, [6] but they broke up in 2008.
Schagen is a city and municipality in the northwestern Netherlands. It is located between Alkmaar and Den Helder, in the region of West Friesland and the province of North Holland. It received city rights in 1415. In 2013, Schagen merged with Zijpe and Harenkarspel. Together they have formed a new municipality, which is also called Schagen. Liliane Saint-Pierre is a Belgian pop singer. Hailing from Flanders, she sings mostly in Dutch. She competed at Eurovision Song Contest 1987 with the song "Soldiers of Love".
Willem Marcel (Wim) De Craene was a Flemish Belgian singer. His most famous songs were 'Rozane' (1975), 'Tim' (1975) and 'Breek uit jezelf' (1988).
Jan Hendrik (John) Kraaijkamp Sr. was a Dutch Golden Calf and Louis d'Or winning actor, comedian and singer. For years, he formed a comedy team with Rijk de Gooyer. One of The Netherlands' most popular comedians, praised for his perfect timing, he also played in more serious plays, including the title role in King Lear (1979) and in the Academy Award-winning WWII drama film The Assault (1986). From 1993 until 2003, he starred in the successful sitcom "Het Zonnetje in Huis" along his son John Kraaijkamp Jr.
Hoepla ("Whoops") was a Dutch experimental cultural television show broadcast in 1967. It aimed at a young teenage audience and was notable for being unpredictable and risky in its subject matter, featuring reports, performances, declarations, and interviews that tied in with the subversive atmosphere of the Provo movement. Three episodes were made for the VPRO, and the show caused national controversy when a naked woman, Phil Bloom, appeared on the show, being the first time this happened on Dutch television. A fourth episode was taped but did not air until 2008. The show was written and produced by the team of Wim T. Schippers, Wim van der Linden, Willem de Ridder, and Hans Verhagen.
The Voice Kids is a Dutch talent show produced by Talpa and broadcast on RTL 4 since January 27, 2012. It was hosted by Martijn Krabbé and Wendy van Dijk in seasons 1 to 8. Ecotribe Teuge is a collective of people living on a squatted terrain in the Dutch countryside. It is located on the edge of the village of Teuge, in the province of Gelderland. The buildings were constructed by the Nazis and formerly used to house Moluccan soldiers. The site was occupied in 2001, when people began to live there in an off-the-grid and self-sufficient manner. Since 2018, there are plans by the province to develop the terrain.
The Ubica buildings are two adjacent buildings standing at 24 and 26 Ganzenmarkt, in central Utrecht, the Netherlands. Number 24 is a rijksmonument. The first recorded mention of the buildings is from 1319. After centuries of residential use, the buildings were bought by the Ubica mattress company in 1913 and used until a devastating fire in 1989. The buildings were then squatted for 21 years, before being redeveloped into a hotel and café-restaurant in 2014.
I Can See Your Voice is a Dutch television mystery music game show series based on the South Korean programme of the same name. Since its premiere on 29 October 2020, it has aired five seasons on RTL 4.
The Masked Singer is a Belgian reality singing competition television series based on the Masked Singer franchise which originated from the South Korean version of the show King of Mask Singer. It premiered on VTM on 18 September 2020, and is hosted by Niels Destadsbader. The winner of the first series was Sandra Kim. The winner of the second series was Camille Dhont.
Big Brother is the Dutch & Belgian cooperation version of the international reality television franchise Big Brother produced by Endemol. The show aired in Netherlands on RTL5 and in the Flemish Region on VIER/Play4 and has had a total of three seasons. The first season of the show aired in 2021. A fourth season will air in 2024.

It premiered on VTM on 14 January 2022 and is hosted by Niels Destadsbader. The season was won by singer Camille Dhont as "Miss Kitty", with singer Loredana finishing second as "Knight", and party chairman Conner Rousseau placing third as "Rabbit".
