The school was established in 1863 with only a handful of students, presently, enrollment averages 1200 students inclusive of Forms 1 to Upper 6. The school's motto is "Virtus et Scientia".
Chinese Trinidadians and Tobagonians are Trinidadians and Tobagonians of Chinese ancestry. The group includes people from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Overseas Chinese who have immigrated to Trinidad and Tobago and their descendants, including those who have emigrated to other countries. The term is usually applied both to people of mixed and unmixed Chinese ancestry, although the former usually appear as mixed race in census figures. Chinese settlement began in 1806. Between 1853 and 1866 2,645 Chinese immigrants arrived in Trinidad as indentured labour for the sugar and cacao plantations. Immigration peaked in the first half of the twentieth century, but was sharply curtailed after the Chinese Revolution in 1949. After peaking at 8,361 in 1960, the (unmixed) Chinese population in Trinidad declined to 3,800 in 2000, however slightly increased to 3,984 in 2011.
Thomas Outridge was an Australian rules football player and administrator. Originally from Ballarat, Victoria, he played 217 games for Perth and Subiaco in the West Australian Football League (WAFL), and also represented Western Australia in 27 interstate matches, captaining the side at the 1930 Australian National Football Carnival. Outridge was also the winner of the inaugural Sandover Medal, in 1921. After his retirement, he served as secretary and later president of the Subiaco Football Club, and also as a commentator. In 2004, Outridge was inducted into the West Australian Football Hall of Fame.

Tuschen is a village in the Essequibo Islands-West Demerara Region of Guyana. It is located along the Atlantic Ocean coast. The original name of the village was Tuschen de Vrienden. During the 20th century, it was a small village. The Tuschen Housing Scheme resulted in a considerable growth, and is one of the largest housing schemes in Guyana.
