Ronan Day-Lewis (born 14 June 1998) is an English director.
He is the son of Daniel Day-Lewis and Rebecca Miller. [1] He is known for directing Anemone, starring and co-written by his father. [2] He has been cited as the reason that Daniel Day-Lewis came out of retirement to begin acting again. [3]
He is the second son of Daniel Day-Lewis and Rebecca Miller, along with the grandson of Arthur Miller and Cecil Day-Lewis. He grew up in rural Ireland, and travelled with his parents often. [3]
He is also an artist. [4] He had a solo exhibition in Hong Kong titled "That Summer We All Saw Them". [5] [6] [7] He has a BA from Yale University.
He also directed The Sheep and the Wolf (2018), and a music video ("Snow and Sun"). The Sheep and the Wolf won best Independent Short at the IFS film festival. [8]
