Rose Kerketta (born 5 December 1940) is a woman writer, poet, thinker and tribal rights activist. She was born in Kaisara, Ranchi District, Bihar which is now Simdega District, Jharkhand to a Kharia family. She has written several books about tribal language and culture. Barle was born in 1966 in village Khola of Patan tehsil in Durg district of Chhattisgarh, India. He holds an MBBS and later completed a diploma in folk music from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya. He is a regular artist in Doordarshan and All India Radio and has also participated and performed in many Mahotsav (festivals) across the country.

Nagpuri literature refers to literature in the Nagpuri language, the language of Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. The earliest literature started in the nagpuri language when the Nagvanshi king and king of Ramgarh Raj started writing poetry in the 17th century. Since then, various literature has been written. Although in the present century, Nagpuri was never considered worthy of literary development. But some dedicated writers have engaged in writing short stories, plays and poetry.

Bhuneshwar Anuj was an Indian journalist, writer and scholar. He is known for his journalism and scholarly works in the Nagpuri language. He also has a prominent role in the separate state movement of Jharkhand. He was central adviser of Lok Seva Samiti.

She has written many books in Nagpuri including Nagpuri Sadani Vyakaran a grammar book of Nagpuri, Sadani Nagpuri-Hindi Sabdkosh a dictionary of Nagpuri, Sato Nadi Par a story. Her books are included in university Nagpuri studies. She has been awarded Jharkhand Ratna, Praful Samman, Prernasrot Samman by Doordarshan Ranchi, Katha Samman by Government of Jharkhand, Bidushi Samman by Government of Bihar.

Usha Yadav is an Indian educationist, writer of contemporary Hindi literature, and recipient of the Padma Shri award. She has been a faculty member at Central Institute of Hindi, Agra, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, and Kanhaiyalal Maniklal Munshi Institute of Hindi. She is the President of the Literary and Cultural Organization Indradhanush and Secretary of the Oriental Research Institute. She has been honored with over 10 major accolades, including the highest honour of children's literature, the Balsahitya Bharti by UP Hindi Sansthan, Lucknow. In 2021, she was honoured with the Padma Shri in the field of Hindi literature and education at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Dehli by the Government of India, which is the fourth-highest civilian award of the Republic of India.
