Rose Alice Reynolds [1] (born 21 February 1991) is a British actress and singer. [2] [3] [4] She is most known for her roles as Sarah Durkin in Wasted , Betty Carkeek in Poldark and Alice in Once Upon a Time . Alongside these roles, she has also appeared in episodes of the BBC soap operas Doctors and EastEnders .

Early life

Reynolds was born in Exeter, Devon where her family still resides. [5]

She graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2012. [2] She has also studied performing arts at the Stage by Stage Academy in Exeter. [6]

Career

Reynolds has spent many years of her acting career working in stage productions, which include Tiger Tail, Candide, Twelfth Night , and My Children! My Africa! . [7]

In 2013, Reynolds received a Commendation at the Ian Charleson Awards for her 2012 performance as Lavinia in Titus Andronicus at the Royal Shakespeare Company. [8] [9] [10] [11] A year later, Reynolds appeared in an episode of the BBC soap opera Doctors as Paula Abbot. [12]

In 2017, Reynolds portrayed Alice and her cursed identity, Tilly, on the series Once Upon a Time . In 2022, she played Glenda Mitchell in an episode of the BBC soap opera EastEnders . [13]

Walford is a fictional borough of East London in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. It is the primary setting for the soap. EastEnders is filmed at Borehamwood in Hertfordshire, towards the north-west of London. Much of the location work is filmed in nearby Watford, which was chosen for many of the exterior scenes due to its close proximity and the town's name being so similar to Walford. Thus, any stray road signs or advertising boards which are accidentally filmed in the back of shots will appear to read Walford. Locations used in Watford include most interior and exterior church scenes of various churches, the snooker club, the County Court and Magistrates' Courts courtrooms, and the cemetery.

"Episode 6550" of the British television soap opera EastEnders was broadcast in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 5 September 2022. The episode was directed by Toby Frow and written by Simon Ashdown. It takes the form of a flashback episode, set in both the present and in January 1979, and explores the reason for DCI Samantha Keeble's vendetta against the Mitchell family.
