Rossiya Tournament 1980 was played in Syktyvkar on 1-5 February 1980. The Soviet Union won the tournament.

The tournament was decided by round-robin results like a group stage. Norway was invited but choose not to come. Instead, a team for Komi ASSR was set up to fill out the field.[ citation needed ]

2020 Bandy World Championship will be held in Irkutsk, Russia, between men's national teams among bandy playing nations. It is the fortieth Bandy World Championship. The Division B tournament was held from 1 to 6 March 2020. The Division A tournament was supposed to be held from 29 March to 5 April 2020 but was postponed due to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic.
