Rossland Warriors

The Rossland Warriors are a senior men's ice hockey team that operated out of Rossland, British Columbia. They played in the Western International Hockey League for ten seasons, from 1956-1967, leaving the league due to financial troubles. [1] The Warriors won the WIHL league title during the 1957-58 season, [2] losing to the Kelowna Packers in the Allan Cup playoffs. [3] Rossland won the Coy Cup in 2007. [4] [5]

The Vernon Canadians were a men's ice hockey team from Vernon, British Columbia that played in the Okanagan Mainline League or the Okanagan Senior League from 1949 to 1961. In 1962, after the Okanagan Senior League folded, the Canadians became a beer league team and then an “old timers” team that still plays today.

The Trail Smoke Eaters were a senior-level men's ice hockey team from Trail, British Columbia, that played from 1926 to 1987. They were recognized as being one of the best senior hockey teams in Canadian history. The Regina Victorias were two ice hockey teams, one at the senior level (1914–1938) and one at the junior level (1917–1921), based in Regina, Saskatchewan. The senior Vics played in the Allan Cup finals three times, winning the Allan Cup in their first (1914) appearance. The senior Victorias were six-time winners of the Saskatchewan Senior Championship, while the junior Victorias were two-time winners of the Saskatchewan Junior championship.

The Savage Cup is the trophy that is awarded to British Columbia’s senior ice hockey champions. This trophy was first presented in 1912-13 to the ice hockey team fielded by the Vancouver Rowing Club. and the Savage Cup will be awarded to the BC provincial champions for the 2009-10 season.

The 2014 Royal Bank Cup was the 44th Junior "A" ice hockey National Championship for the Canadian Junior Hockey League. The 2014 Royal Bank Cup marked the 44th consecutive year a national championship has been awarded to this skill level since the breakaway of Major Junior hockey in 1970.
