Rudlin Torah Academy is a coed Jewish private day school located in Richmond, Virginia. It serves Elementary school and Middle School students from kindergarten to eighth grade. This school is a member of the Virginia Association of Independent Schools. The school is small with only about 100 students per year. They teach Torah for all ages and have programs that fit all students.

Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond (BTSR) was a free-standing seminary in Richmond, Virginia. It was founded in March 1989 by Virginia Baptists related to the Southern Baptist Alliance and Baptist General Association of Virginia. In the late 1980s, as the situation began to change in Southern Baptist Convention during the conservative resurgence/fundamentalist takeover, others in the region joined them in seeing the need for alternative options for theological education among Baptists. BTSR was also affiliated with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. Accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada, BTSR offered degrees including the Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Theological Studies (MTS), and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.).
Henrico High School is a public high school located in Henrico County, Virginia and operated by the Henrico County Public Schools. Open High School is an alternative public high school in urban Oregon Hill in Richmond, Virginia. It was established in 1972 with the intention of helping students become independent, self-determined thinkers and learners. Students volunteer at a variety of places, take college courses for high school and college credit, and independently develop and maintain a class schedule. The school building was originally built with money and on land donated by Grace Arents.
John Randolph Tucker High School is a public high school in the West End of Henrico County, Virginia, United States. It is named after lawyer and judge John Randolph Tucker. Its students and faculty often refer to themselves as “Tigers", and locals around the area often refer to the school as "Tucker". The school had approximately 1600 students and over 150 faculty members, 135 being teachers, during the 2014-15 school year. The school, being a magnet high school, attracts students from around Henrico County to participate in its International Baccalaureate Programme, Advanced College Academy, and immersive World Language Center (Immersion). The school is undergoing a renovation process. A new building, similar to Glen Allen High School, will be built on the athletic fields. Once that has completed, the current buildings will be demolished and athletic fields put in their place.
Hanover High School is a high school located in the Mechanicsville census-designated place (CDP) of unincorporated Hanover County, Virginia, United States. The school opened during the 2003–04 academic year with Carol Cash as principal. The second principal of the school was George Sadler, who took on the role when Cash retired in 2007. Sadler retired from the role at the end of the 2011–2012 school year. Dana Gresham joined the school as principal in July 2012 after serving as a principal at Rural Point Elementary School.

The Virginia Civil Rights Memorial is a monument in Richmond, Virginia commemorating protests which helped bring about school desegregation in the state. The memorial was opened in July 2008, and is located on the grounds of the Virginia State Capitol. It features eighteen statues of leaders or participants in the Civil Rights Movement on four sides of a rectangular granite stone block onto which are carved quotes. The memorial was designed by Stanley Bleifeld, who was chosen by the commission behind the construction of the monument. The memorial cost $2.8 million which was financed by private donations.
