Run&Gun (stylized as RUN&GUN) is a Japanese boy band and performance troupe associated with Yoshimoto Kogyo. The group was formed in 2001 by Antinos Records. The members consist of Yuya Miyashita, Kosuke Yonehara, and Akira Nagata; Ryuji Kamiyama left the group in 2014.
Run&Gun debuted in 2001 with the song "Lay-Up!" and were initially produced by Daisuke Asakura before moving to Epic Records Japan in 2002. Throughout their career, Run&Gun also engaged in theater projects, including their own self-produced stage plays and Air Gear . In 2008, they announced they were putting their musical releases on hiatus and planned to focus on their acting projects instead.
Miyashita, Kamiyama, Yonehara, and Nagata were part of D.A.N.K. (Daisuke Asakura New Kids), a performance troupe produced by Daisuke Asakura. [1] In 2001, they were selected as members for Run&Gun through an audition television program called Study Park!! [2] On July 4, 2001, they debuted with the song "Lay-Up!", which was used as an opening theme song for Study Park!! [3] Their second single, "Ready Go!" was released on August 29, 2001 as the theme song to a Lotte commercial. [4] Their third single, "Twinkle Starlight", was released on December 5, 2001, as the ending theme song to the television series Danmaru! Heroes. [5]
Following the release of "Peace Out Iza, Saraba" on March 6, 2002, [6] Run&Gun was transferred to Epic Records Japan and parted ways with Asakura. They released their fifth single, "Loop", on July 10, 2002 as the ending theme to Show Up Nighter. [7] Afterwards, their sixth single, "Wishing On", was released on November 20, 2002. [8] Their seventh single, "Shootin' to My Eyes", was released on February 19, 2003. [9] They released the song "Mi-ra-i" on May 21, 2003 as the first ending theme song to Sonic X . [10] Following its release, Run&Gun released their first studio album, Face, on July 16, 2003. [11] In the summer of 2003, Run&Gun held their first tour titled Blue Journey. [12]
In 2004, Run&Gun departed from Epic Records Japan and signed onto Yoshimoto Kogyo, where they released their ninth single, "Believe", on August 18, 2004. [13] On January 19, 2005, they released "Blackjack" as the ending theme to Jack Sports. [14] On February 23, 2005, they released their extended play, Hateshinai Tabi no Naka de... [15] On June 21, 2006, they released their second studio album, Re:ing. [16]
After Re:ing was released, Run&Gun began branching out and focusing on other projects. In 2007, Kamiyama and Yonehara published a novel together titled Flying Melon. [2] Run&Gun also starred as Team Bacchus in the stage play adaptation of Air Gear , an original team made for the musical. In January 2008, Run&Gun held their first group-produced stage play, Blue Sheets, [17] followed up with another stage play titled YooSoRo!: Nihon o Kaeta Yatsura o Kaeta Yatsura. [18] Later in 2008, Run&Gun announced a hiatus on their musical releases, stating that they planned to focus on acting projects within and outside of the group.[ citation needed ]
In February 2009, Kamiyama and Yonehara were cast in the all-male stage adaptation of Fruits Basket . [19] In 2010, Run&Gun ran their third stage play, Bokura no Chikara de Sekai ga Ato Nankai Sukueta ka. [20] In April 2010, Run&Gun reprised their roles as Team Bacchus in the Air Gear stage play. [21] In 2014, Kamiyama left the group to pursue acting full-time. [22]

Takanori Nishikawa is a Japanese musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, voice artist, radio personality, and businessman. He performs under the stage name T.M.Revolution (TMR), which stands for "Takanori Makes Revolution", stemming from the famous '80s pop electronic band TM Network. Despite most of his songs being written by Akio Inoue and composed/arranged by Daisuke Asakura, T.M.Revolution is considered Nishikawa's solo project. Nishikawa is also known for contributions of ending and opening themes to many notable anime and game series.

The two main headquarters are stationed in Osaka and Tokyo.
Ryuji Kamiyama is a Japanese actor and former singer. He was a member of the boy band Run&Gun from 2001 to 2014.
Kosuke Yonehara is a Japanese musician and actor affiliated with Yoshimoto Kogyo. Yonehara debuted in 2001 as a member of the boy band and acting troupe Run&Gun. From 2010 to 2012, he was also the drummer of the band Cocoa Otoko. Later, he provided vocals and guitar to the musical duo Yosuke Kosuke with Yosuke Sakanoue.
Yuya Miyashita is a Japanese musician and actor. In 2001, he debuted as a member of the boy band Run&Gun. In 2012, he became the drummer of the band 4 Strike.
Mei Nakabayashi, better known by her stage name May'n, is a Japanese singer from Nagoya. Aspiring to become a musician since childhood, she began her music activities in 2003 upon passing an audition held by talent agency Horipro International. She made her major debut in 2005 under the Universal Music label with the release of her first single "Crazy Crazy Crazy". She would release two more singles under Universal Music, before transferring to Victor Entertainment in 2008. That same year, she had her break as the singing voice of the character Sheryl Nome in the anime series Macross Frontier.
On/Off is a Japanese musical duo consisting of twin brothers Naoya Sakamoto and Kazuya Sakamoto. The duo debuted in 2007 releasing the single "Eien no Setsuna".
Lum no Love Song is the debut single of Japanese pop singer Yuko Matsutani. The single was released on October 21, 1981 and was created as the theme song for the anime series Urusei Yatsura. The song was used as the theme song from its debut on October 14, 1981 until the 77th episode released on July 20, 1983.

It was initially released digitally on April 30, 2013, and on May 27 released as one of the A-sides of her 14th single, along with the song "Kodoku no Akatsuki". The release date was the 15th anniversary of the release of Sheena's debut single "Kōfukuron" in 1998. The song was used as the theme song for the drama Kamo, Kyōto e Iku.: Shinise Ryokan no Okami Nikki.
Momo Asakura is a Japanese voice actress and singer. She is part of the Music Ray'n agency. After passing an audition held by Music Ray'n, she made her voice acting debut as Yumi in the anime My Little Monster. She played her first main role as Ayumi Otosaka in the anime television series Charlotte. She is a member of the voice acting unit TrySail, alongside Sora Amamiya and Shiina Natsukawa. Apart from voice acting, she also performed theme song for various anime she acted in.
TrySail are a Japanese girl group. The members of the group are Momo Asakura, Sora Amamiya and Shiina Natsukawa; all of them are also voice actresses who are all managed by Sony's Music Ray'n subdivision. Their February 2016 single "Whiz" reached the fourth place on the weekly Oricon Singles Chart, and was additionally used as the ending theme for the original net animation Koyomimonogatari.

Urusei Yatsura no Theme ~Lum no Love Song~/「Mii」 is the fourteenth single released by Japanese artist misono on September 23, 2009. The single was released the same day as her first cover album Cover Album. The single charted well on Oricon, taking the #18 position for the week; however, the single only remained on the charts for two weeks.

Yoh Kamiyama is a Japanese musician, singer, and composer from Gifu Prefecture who is affiliated with Ignite Management and Sony Music Associated Records. He began his career in 2014 when he started uploading songs created using Vocaloid software on the Japanese video-sharing website Niconico under the name Yukisan (有機酸). In 2017, he started making songs using his own voice. He gained popularity in 2018 with his song "Yellow", which became popular on YouTube and TikTok. He made his major debut under Sony in 2020; his music has been featured in anime series such as Drifting Dragons and Horimiya.
