Rune Vindheim (born 15 May 1972) is a retired Norwegian football player who is currently the manager of Fana IL.

Player career

While playing for Fana IL, [1] he was sold to Burnley in 1998, playing eight league games, one FA Cup game and one Football League Trophy game. He was then sold to Hartlepool United in 1999, playing seven league games and one FA Cup game. [2]

Managing career

Vindheim became assistant coach of Fana IL ahead of the 2010 season. [3] The season ended with relegation, and he was promoted to head coach. [4] Vindheim and Fana subsequently won promotion from the 2011 Norwegian Third Division.

Cato Guntveit is a retired Norwegian footballer who played for SK Brann the most of his career. Guntveit played briefly for local club Fana before joining Brann in 1995. He also spent two seasons at Aberdeen, but played in Brann from 2002 to 2010. Guntveit is married and has three children. One of the few "local lads" in Brann, he owns and works in a toyshop in Bergen. He retired from football in after the 2010 season.
