The National Democratic Alliance is a right-wing Indian political group led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). It was founded on 15 May 1998 and currently controls the government of India as well as the government of 19 Indian states and one Union territory.

He held water supply and sanitation,parliamentary affairs,electronics and information technology,science and technology and public works as a minister in Haryana cabinet. In 2005,he was given the responsibility of Transport and Parliamentary Affairs and thus became the youngest minister in Haryana. He defeated Om Prakash Chautala in 1996 and 2005. As of December 2017,Surjewala is one of the official spokespersons of Indian National Congress party,and as of September 2021,is a General Secretary of the Indian National Congress and Party in-charge for Karnataka. In the biennial elections of the Rajya Sabha for the State of Rajasthan,held on 10 June 2022,Mr. Surjewala was elected as a Member of Parliament,Rajya Sabha,with his term to start on 5 July 2022.
C. P. Joshi is an Indian politician and a five-time MLA from Nathdwara,Rajasthan. He was born in a Brahmin family in Nathdwara,Rajasthan and he is a member of the Indian National Congress. He has previously served as Speaker of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Previously,he was the Member of Parliament of India from Bhilwara in the 15th Lok Sabha. He was one of the first 19 members of India's new cabinet sworn in on 22 May 2009,despite being a first-time member of the Lok Sabha. As a union minister,Joshi held key portfolios like Road Transport and Highways,and Rural Development and Panchayati Raj in the Second Manmohan Singh ministry. Moreover,he was also a Cabinet Minister of the Government of Rajasthan from 1998 to 2003.

He lost his seat in the 2018 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election to Gurmeet Singh Kooner of the Indian National Congress by a margin of 28,376 votes.

Shobha Rani Kushwaha is an Indian politician and a member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Dholpur Assembly constituency. She was elected from Dholpur constituency in 2017 bypolls and consecutively in 2018 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections,as a candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party. Her husband Banwari Lal Kushwaha preceded her as MLA from Dholpur constituency in 2013 Assembly elections. She was expelled from Bharatiya Janata Party after it was revealed that she had done cross voting in favour of Indian National Congress candidate in Rajya Sabha election from Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. She is considered as a close accomplice of former Rajasthan Chief Minister,Vasundhara Raje. She switched to Indian National Congress in 2023 and retained the Dholpur seat in 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election.
Gurmeet Singh Kooner was a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly representing the Karanpur constituency for the Indian National Congress (INC),which he won in the 2018 election. He previously represented the constituency following the Assembly elections of 1998,for the INC,and 2008,as an independent. Kooner died in New Delhi on 15 November 2023.
The Sixteenth Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan was constituted after the 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections which were concluded in November 2023 and the results were declared on 3 December 2023.
