RushTera is software as a service, that provides accelerated upload/download, storage, sharing and management of large media files. RushTera was first demonstrated in April 2012 at the NAB Show. [1] The product is marketed by the New York company Attend LLC, which was founded in 2008. In 2012, RushTera was deployed on CloudSigma [2] [3] , but has since been redeployed on private infrastructure provided by Unitas Global. Attend's content ingest network, uses geographically distributed virtual machines [4] to eliminate latency and provide fast uploads and downloads of huge files. RushTera became generally available in November 2012. [5] Since then RushTera has been used by Focus Features during post production on several major motion pictures including Academy Award winner Dallas Buyers Club, as well as Kill The Messenger, The World's End, Black Sea, and Admission. [6] Promax/BDA used RushTera as the submissions platform for its Hot Spots Showcase in both 2013 and 2014. Company CEO Chuck Stormon was interviewed in January 2013. [7] Attend LLC / RushTera was selected as an alternate finalist (13th of 6,932 applicants) in 43North, the largest business idea competition in the world. [8] [9]

Software as a service is a software licensing and delivery model in which software is licensed on a subscription basis and is centrally hosted. It is sometimes referred to as "on-demand software", and was formerly referred to as "software plus services" by Microsoft.

NAB Show American annual trade show

NAB Show is an annual trade show produced by the National Association of Broadcasters. It takes place in April, and has been held since 1991 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show's tagline is "Where Content Comes to Life". NAB show is the largest show for media, entertainment and technology. The NAB shows covers: broadcast TV, radio, production, post production, news gathering, streaming, cable TV, satellite TV, film restoration, data storage, data management, weather forecasting, industrial TV, FX, CGI, connected media, cybersecurity and more. NAB had 103,000 attendees from 161 countries and more than 1,806 exhibitors in 2016. There are also exhibitors in Las Vegas hotels not counted in the official convention center displays. In addition to the exhibitors' booths, there are lectures, panel discussions and workshops. In 2017, there will be over 200 of these sessions. Before 1991 the show had moved around to a number of cities: Washington DC, Chicago, New York, Atlantic City, Dallas, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Houston, San Francisco, St. Louis, White Sulfur Springs, W. Va., and once in West Baden Springs, Indiana

Keek was a free online social networking service that allowed its users to upload video status updates, which were called "keeks". Users could post keeks to the Keek website using a webcam or via the Keek mobile apps for iPhone, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, or Android. Users could also reply back with text or video comments, known as "keekbacks", and share content to other major social media networks. There was also an embed option so users could embed their keeks into a blog or website.

In Creative Cloud, a monthly or annual subscription service is delivered over the Internet.
