Rush Soccer is an international soccer organization that was founded in Denver, Colorado and is headquartered in New York. [1] [2] Rush Soccer partners with over 80 youth and professional clubs across the world. [3] [4]
Rush Soccer was founded in April 1997 in Denver, Colorado. [5] The Colorado Rush, the first domestic Rush club, has won over 12 National Championships, and 1 World Youth Tournament since the inaugural season began in 1997. [6] The first partnered club was Virginia Rush in 2002 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
In 2009, Rush Soccer began to expand internationally after partnering with a small district in South Africa called Nkomazi. [7] Since then, Rush has formed partnerships with clubs in Africa, South America, Central America Europe and Asia. Rush is represented in 48 states of the US and in over 30 countries. [8]

The Colorado Rapids are an American professional soccer club based in the Denver metropolitan area. The Rapids compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Western Conference. Founded in 1995, as part of the Anschutz Corporation, later to be a founding sports franchise of the global sports & entertainment juggernaut AEG, the club is a founding member of MLS, playing their first season in 1996. The Rapids are owned by the Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, also owners of the Denver Nuggets of NBA, Colorado Avalanche of NHL, Colorado Mammoth of NLL and other sports teams outside of the state of Colorado.

The senior women's Colorado Rush team was a women's soccer team based in Littleton, Colorado, that most recently competed in the Rockies Division of the Mountain Conference of the Women's Premier Soccer League's (WPSL) Central Region. It suspended play after the 2022 WPSL season and was succeeded as the Rush Soccer WPSL club in Colorado by Flatirons Rush SC, based in Arvada, Colorado. Colorado Rush's youth teams and academy continue to operate under the name.
