Orange is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales. Elections to the 55th Parliament of New South Wales were held on Saturday,26 March 2011. The 16-year-incumbent Labor Party government led by Premier Kristina Keneally was defeated in a landslide by the Liberal–National Coalition opposition led by Barry O'Farrell. Labor suffered a two-party swing of 16.4 points,the largest against a sitting government at any level in Australia since World War II. From 48 seats at dissolution,Labor was knocked down to 20 seats—the worst defeat of a sitting government in New South Wales history,and one of the worst of a state government in Australia since federation. The Coalition picked up a 34-seat swing to win a strong majority,with 69 seats–the largest majority government,in terms of percentage of seats controlled,in NSW history. It is only the third time since 1941 that a NSW Labor government has been defeated.

First registered in New South Wales,it achieved federal registration in June 2010,but was deregistered in May 2015. However,the party was still active for several years afterwards on a state level,sending out candidates for the New South Wales Hills Shire Council and Mayoral elections in 2017. The Advance Australia Party was deregistered on 13 August 2019.
Andrew Robert Gee is an Australian politician who has been the Minister for Veterans' Affairs and Minister for Defence Personnel in the Morrison Government since July 2021. He was previously the Minister for Decentralisation and Regional Education since February 2020. He is a member of the National Party and has represented the Division of Calare in the House of Representatives since 2016. He previously served in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 2011 to 2016,representing the seat of Orange.

He was a Greens member from 2011 to 2018,but resigned from the party on 20 December 2018. He was unsuccessful in retaining his seat in the Legislative Council in the 2019 state election.

The Australian Federation Party (AFP),formerly known as the Country Alliance and the Australian Country Party,is an Australian political party. Founded in 2004 by four rural Victorians,the party lodged its initial registration with the Victorian Electoral Commission on 15 August 2005.
