Rusty Troy is a retired American soccer player. He played for the University of North Texas. He was drafted and played professionally in the Major Indoor Soccer League, National Professional Soccer League, American Professional Soccer League and USISL. He was the 1989 MISL Rookie of the Year and the 1998 PSA Defender of the Year.

Youth

Troy played his youth soccer in Dallas Texas for club team called the Texas Longhorns. [1] In 1984, Troy graduated from MacArthur High School (Irving, Texas). He attended the University of North Texas, playing on the men’s soccer team from 1984 to 1987.He started every game for the University of North Texas. [2]

Professional

Troy was selected by the Chicago Sting with the 3rd pick of the 1st round in the 1988 MISL draft. Baltimore selected him with the 1st pick in the Dispersal draft after the sting folded that summer. [3] In June 1988, the Chicago Sting selected Troy in the first round (third overall) of the 1988 Major Indoor Soccer League college draft. [4] The Milwaukee Wave also selected him with the first pick of the 1988 American Indoor Soccer Association Amateur Draft. Troy signed with the Sting, but when the team folded soon after, the Baltimore Blast took him with the first pick in the Dispersal Draft. He became a regular on the Blast as the team went to the MISL finals and Troy was named the 1989 MISL Rookie of the Year. [5] Troy played for the Blast until they folded in 1992. In 2012, he was inducted into the Baltimore Blast Hall of Fame. In 1990, Troy spent the summer with the Washington Diplomats of the American Professional Soccer League. [6] In 1992, he signed with the expansion Baltimore Spirit of the National Professional Soccer League. In 1994, after completing the indoor season with the Spirit, Troy moved to the outdoor Baltimore Bays of the USISL. He played four games, then returned to the University of North Texas to finish his degree in finance. [7] That summer, he also played for the Las Vegas Dustdevils as they won the Continental Indoor Soccer League title. In 1995, Troy signed as a free agent with the Dallas Sidekicks. He would play for the Sidekicks every summer until his retirement in 2001. In 1998, he was the Premier Soccer Alliance Defender of the Year.Dallas Sidekicks [8] In addition to his summers with the Dallas Sidekicks.Troy also spent two winter indoor seasons (1997-1999) with the Milwaukee Wave. On April 9, 2001, Troy announced his retirement from soccer with the Dallas Sidekicks at the end of the 2001 WISL season. In 1998, he was the Premier Soccer Alliance Defender of the Year for the Dallas Sidekicks. Troy was selected as the 1989 MISL Rookie of the Year. Troy played for United States national futsal team at the 1998 Rio de Janeiro Futsal Tournament. [11] Troy retired from professional soccer on April 9, 2001.

Troy Snyder is a former U.S. soccer player who is second on the high school career scoring list with 208 goals and 117 assists. He spent most of his career playing indoor soccer, but also won an outdoor title in 1987 with the San Diego Nomads. Snyder earned five caps with the U.S. national team between 1985 and 1991 as well as another nine with the U.S. National Futsal Team. In 1983, he was a member of the U.S. team at the U-20 World Championship.

Edward Radwanski is an American former soccer midfielder. He spent the five seasons in the Major Indoor Soccer League, one in the Continental Indoor Soccer League and seven in the USISL and its predecessor, the SISL. He also earned five caps with the U.S. national team in 1985.

Vojislav "Scoop" Stanisic is a retired Serbian-born American soccer goalkeeper who was most recently the goalkeeping coach for Columbus Crew in Major League Soccer. He spent most of his career playing indoor soccer in the United States, but also played five outdoor seasons in the American Soccer League, American Professional Soccer League and USISL. He earned one cap with the US national team in 1993.

Victor Nogueira is a retired American soccer goalkeeper. Nogueira spent six seasons in the North American Soccer League, but gained his greatest recognition in over twenty seasons in three indoor leagues, the Major Indoor Soccer League, National Professional Soccer League and the second Major Indoor Soccer League. He was also a member of the U.S. futsal team which took second place at the 1992 FIFA Futsal World Championship, and he is the father of FC Kansas City and United States forward Casey Loyd. John Ball is an American soccer player who most recently played for the PASL team Cleveland Freeze. He has an extensive career, playing both indoor and outdoor soccer. He spent one season in Major League Soccer with the Chicago Fire and was a part of the United States national futsal team which went to the second round of the 2004 FIFA Futsal World Championship.

Sean Patrick Bowers is a retired U.S. soccer defender. He spent most of his career playing indoor soccer, earning the 1992 NPSL Rookie of the Year, four-time Defender of the Year and a six-time first team All Star in four different indoor leagues. Brad Smith is a retired American soccer forward who played professionally in Germany and the United States, including the Major Indoor Soccer League, National Professional Soccer League and American Professional Soccer League. The 1983–84 Major Indoor Soccer League season was the sixth in league history and ended with the Baltimore Blast winning their first MISL championship. The Blast would beat the St. Louis Steamers in the championship series, the third time in five seasons the Steamers would lose in the MISL championship round. This would be the first time the MISL finals would be a best-of-seven series, part of the league's expanded playoff format.

Joe Koziol is a retired American soccer player who played professionally in the American Professional Soccer League, Major Indoor Soccer League and the National Professional Soccer League. He also won three indoor USISL titles with the Baltimore Bays.

Willie Molano is a retired Colombian association football player who played professionally in the Major Indoor Soccer League and National Professional Soccer League.
